A cyclone could blow trees and people and buildings away.
The house went slowly up, up, up into the sky.
'Thank you, thank you!' said the woman.
'Look! Her feet are disappearing!'
The Witch gave Dorothy a little kiss.
chapter 2
The Scarecrow moived his arms and legs, and staw went everywhere.
'I am afraid of fire.'
They found some water, and Dorothy washed.
Dorothy carefully oiled the Tin Man.
Dorothy hit the lion on the nose with her bag.
So the Cowardly Lion gumped across the river.
The Tin man cut down the tree with his axe.
chapter 3
It was the Emerald City at last.
'Everybody in the city must wear glasses,' said the green man.
On a green chair was a vary, vary big head.
'I saw a ball of fire,' said the Cowardly Lion.
chapter 4
'Magic Monkeys - come!'
They threw Scarecrow's clothes up into a tall tree.
Dorothy threw water at the Witch.
The Monkeys carried them up into the sky.
chapter 5
The screen fell over.
'The balloon was always on a rope.'
'I'm putting your brains in,' said the Wizard.
'Wear this always,' the Wizard said.
Toto ran after the cat.
But the rope did break...
