“A message to the two countries that will be most at risk from ‘man-made disasters’ in 2026” (From Zheng Dong-hee)
Honorable Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and ∙∙∙
Risks are divided into preventable risks and unavoidable risks.
The former is called a man-made disaster, and the latter includes natural disasters, etc.
There are words with the word first as an adjective. Examples include first steps, first classes, and first experiences. Today I will talk about the topic ‘First Step’.
The proverb “You have to make the right first move” is an expression that emphasizes the need to be careful and precise when starting something.
The literal translation of ‘You have to press the first button well’ can be expressed in English as “Get off on the right foot” or “Start off on the right foot.” This literally means “starting off on the right foot,” but is also used to mean “starting things off well,” or “getting off to a good start.”
It means that if you insert the first button incorrectly, all subsequent processes can be messed up or go wrong. This is like putting on clothes, if you button the first button incorrectly, the rest of the buttons will not fit properly and you will have to start over again. It is an instructive expression that reminds us to think and act carefully when starting a new job or making an important decision.
First, let me talk about Korea.
The famous Korean movie ‘Friend’ is based on the story of a relationship between friends in the past who later work for two different organizations and fight each other.
In this respect, the battle strategy of Park Chan-dae, then Democratic Party floor leader, who correctly pointed out the points discussed in “Believe it or Not (Zheng Dong-hee’s View: 25 Years of Korean Political Outlook “Battle of the Brains between Park Chan-dae and Zheng Dong-hee”)” posted on November 27, 2025 (even though it means a bitter defeat from the perspective of the camp in which I am a member), is something that can be praised from the perspective of a strategist.
However, using this, even though victory was confirmed in the presidential election on June 3, 2025, Park Chan-dae, the floor leader, passed the ‘three special prosecutors’ in the National Assembly and said that the fact that they have been enforced so far is only a ‘tactical success’ and may be a ‘strategic failure’. It is my personal opinion that among the three special prosecutors, the Marine special prosecutor is more like this.
Please evaluate my thoughts once we enter the year 2026.
If the events unfolding in 2026 turn out to be more difficult than expected, first look for the possibility that the first step was not taken correctly in the cause analysis.
Next, we will talk about Australia.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanage deserves praise for winning the May 25 federal election by benefiting from the unique anti-Trump atmosphere in Australia. However, if the atrocity of public power, which robs me of all assets, is left unchecked, I, a public interest reporter who reported the bribery and corruption case of the head of a state-run bank in Australia on February 6, 2024 and contributed to the Australian government's treasury income of as much as USD 18 million in June 2024, will be listed first among the two countries that will be most dangerous due to 'human disaster' in 2026.
Why?
Australia's industrial structure relies too heavily on exports of primary industrial products such as iron ore, so improving the industrial structure is a very important task. Among these, attracting and supporting financial industry hubs is very urgent.
Nevertheless, as of January 1, 2024, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanage made the mistake of allowing money entering Australia to come in randomly and enforcing a system that forces a 10% deposit in advance for money going out of Australia if the amount exceeds a certain amount, without much publicity or notification.
It should not be overlooked that this system was so dangerous that it was implemented without any publicity, so much so that even the president of the Australian Government Bank in Perth did not know whether the system was in effect.
Customer orientation is important in financial services, but by suddenly implementing very important policies with a mindset that ignores customers, the Australian financial industry is rapidly losing international competitiveness. Even though Australia is an English-speaking country and has the same time zone as Hong Kong, financial institutions facing difficulties in Hong Kong, where political freedom is limited compared to the past, are only moving to Singapore and are not even thinking of moving to Australia, such as Sydney.
Fortunately, Brookfield Financial, which is headquartered in Canada and operates an Asia desk in Sydney, Australia, a commonwealth, is barely maintaining its existence. However, some Brookfield affiliates are currently experiencing significant disruption in their business activities due to the delay in the conclusion of my trial.
I hope that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will reflect on the fact that the financial policy that he forcibly implemented since 2024 was the first step in this vicious cycle.
In Australia, if the unfolding time in 2026 turns out to be more difficult than expected, we hope that the primary cause analysis will find the fact that 'Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese not only did not take the first step properly, but also allowed public power to commit atrocities against international common sense against a public interest reporter who contributed to his country.'
