<p>Jet Blue is getting hit with a 2 million dollar penalty for chroniclly late flights. </p><p>The transportation Department says half the money will go to the passengers who were delayed on flights along 4 routes on the East Coast between the summer of 2022 and late 2023.</p><p>The Department said it's the first such fine against an airline over chronical delays and it blaims JetBlue for unealistic schedulling </p><p>JetBlue said that despite settling the matter it blaims the Federal gevernmet for problems in the air traffic control system saying that that contributed to the late flight.</p><p>I'm Lisa Dwyer.</p><p> </p>
