Life is hard, but when we call on [the name of the Lord] /with a pure heart, He hears [our prayers].

* hard 1. Difficult or Challenging: Requires significant mental or physical effort.: "That was a very hard exam." 어려운

      2. Solid or Firm: Resistant to pressure, bending, or breaking.: "The ground was frozen and hard." 단단한, 확고한

      3. Intense or Diligent: Used as an adverb to describe applying a lot of energy to an action. 열심히, 극렬히

* 타동사구  call on ; to ask someone in a formal way to do something: 

  on은 문법이나 의미상 동사와 결합하여 동사구를 이루므로 '소사'라고 불림

* 부역 전구  /with a pure heart, 동사 수식 ; 순수한 마음으로

* 전치사의 역할

1. 동사에 붙어 동사구를 구성함

2. 명사에 붙어 전치사구로 부역이나 형역을 함

* 주의 ; 문법상이나 의미상 동사와 결합하여 동사구를 구성하는 소사는 동사구의 일부가 되며

            문법상이나 의미상 명사와 결합하여 전치사구를 구성하는 전치사는 전치사사구로서 형역/부역을 하고

look into [different flight options]에서 into는 동사와 결합하여 investigate or research라는 숙어가 됨 ; 알아보다, 

* 주의 ; 한글 해석상 목적격 조사 '을/를'을 붙여 해석이 된다고 타동사구라고 못하고 영어 동사의 특성으로 정해짐

look for [me]는 타동사구 특성상 '나를 찾아라'로 되지만 look /into the classroom은 교실을 들여다 보라로 해석되나

look의 자동사 특성이 사용된 때문에 '교실 안으로 들여다 보라'로 해석해야 맞으나 의역상 교실을 들여다 보라로 함

Flee [the evil desires of youth] and pursue [righteousness, faith, love and peace],

along with those //who call on [the Lord] /out of a pure heart.

* FLEE : 1. to escape by running away, especially because of danger or fear: 도망치다

  타동사이므로 뒤에 명사/명사구가 목적으로 쓰임

* 주의 ; 한글 해석상 '청년의 욕망으로부터 도망치라'로 되어 전치사 from이 필요할듯 보이나 쓰면 틀림 

* 전목인 명사구 those //who call on [the Lord] /out of a pure heart.

New Living Translation
Run /from anything //that stimulates [youthful lusts].

Instead, pursue [righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace].

Enjoy [the companionship of those //who call on the Lord] /with pure hearts.

* run은 자동사로 쓰였기에 뒤에 전치사구가 따름 /from anything //that stimulates [youthful lusts]. 

* 주의 run up [the bill]에서 run up은 타동사구로 '빚을 축적하다' 의미가 되나

           run /up the hill에서 run은 자동사로 쓰였기에 up은 명사에 붙어 전치사구로 '언덕 위쪽으로'라는 의미가 됨

* 목적인 명사구 [the companionship /of those //who call on the Lord] 명+형역 전구

* 전목인 명사구  those //who call on the Lord 대명사+형절/주격 관대절
