What is the cause of my unreasonableness? (Romans 7:14-17)
Modern philosophy says that rationality and irrationality coexist within me.
If my reason and actions are consistent, it is rational; if not, it is irrational.
So, it becomes a deformed faith that tries to handle
the reasonable things on its own and leave the unreasonable things to God.
Therefore, knowing that my problem through the law was sin, I,
who had been the cause of sin through the atonement grace of Christ,
became the cause of God's righteousness through the cross of Christ.
We must learn that a life of faith in which the holistic person is saved by faith
in which the Holy Spirit works within us is truly rational.
Q. Even though the law is spiritual, why am I caught up in irrationality?
“For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin” (Romans 7:14)
A. The law is spiritual, but sin is the master of my flesh.
Apostle Paul say, that he does not even know Jesus Christ according to the flesh. (2 Corinthians 5:16)
If you only understand Jesus who came in the flesh, you will not be able to understand the Bible.
Paul says that I belong to the flesh, that is, with a carnal existence
and way of thinking, I am sold under sin and enslaved to sin.
No matter what kind of flesh we have, we cannot help but be dragged around by sin.
And the greed of the flesh is the cause of all human problems and illnesses.
Spiritual secrets will not be revealed if you only know the ministry of Jesus in the synoptic gospels.
Signs and wonders occur, but we only think about what Jesus did in the flesh.
The Lord lives not only then, but even now, and He Himself takes upon us our weaknesses.
Through the Holy Spirit, He continues to receive our weaknesses.
If we become one with the Lord in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord takes on our weaknesses and carries our illnesses (Matthew 8:17).
Here is the secret to healing illness in Christ.
We have returned to the Lord, the shepherd and bishop of our souls. (1 Peter 2:25)
The bishop leads and the shepherd feeds, and now we have returned to Him.
The Lord continues to absorb our weaknesses.
The Lord is continuously absorbing our weaknesses like he is sucking out rotten pus.
Therefore, my spiritual illness is cured, and then my physical illness is also cured.
Only in this way can there be complete healing.
What good is it if you only treat the peel?
The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity, but a wounded spirit who can bear? (Proverbs 18:14)
As the Lord continues to accept the weakness of the spirit,
the spirit becomes strong and the mind becomes healthy,
strong, and energetic, which leads to physical health.
Finally, Paul found the cause of his irrationality.
“For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.” (Romans 7:15)
I keep doing things I don't understand.
The problem is the sin within me.
Sin and death also exist.
The sin within me makes me do the wrong things.
This sin is the main culprit.
And my greed leads me to sin.
Therefore, the only way to rescue me from sin and to receive salvation and enjoy
the grace of the Lord is through the atonement of the cross of Jesus Christ.
If you don't know this, you are neither this nor that.
There is no salvation, and there is no blessing after salvation.
“If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that is good.” (Romans 7:16)
It is not that the law caused me to sin, but that I do it.
Therefore, it states that the law is good.
It is not the law that is the problem, but the sin within me that does that.
“Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me” (Romans 7:17)
You finally find yourself.
‘The core of Paul’s theology is that after discovering the sin that was not me but within me,
I went to Christ, who was given to the cross for our sins and was resurrected,
and discovered the law of the Holy Spirit of life in Christ.
Without knowing this, we are nothing.
If you don't discover this, it's not christianity.
Human beings do not try to know or even acknowledge the fact that there is sin within them.
They do not try to find out the cause of their unreasonable behavior.
I keep doing things I don't want to do, and it's because I have sin within me,
but I find myself defending myself even when I'm in conflict.
There is always a civil war between accusations and excuses in me.
The inside and the outside are fighting each other, but this is not me, it is the sin within me.
Since I own the sin, it is human destiny to bear the shame of the sin committed
by that sin and to pay for it and not be able to separate from it.
In the end, you will be destroyed as the price for your sins.
If you can't get out of there, God will control the consequences.
That is God's judgment.
Many people think that christianity has no cause and effect.
That's because they don't know God's grace.
The cause lies in God’s grace.
The cause of God's grace comes from within the beginning.
Life flows from there.
That life becomes the cause and appears as a result in our lives.
God sees the result and says, ‘You are righteous.’
However, it is a righteousness that we accept the cause not as a cause through actions,
but through faith. Anything without cause and effect is not faith.
Living by faith means living by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
So our cause is God.
Since God is the cause and good, the result is also good.
So, those who pursue good will have glory, honor, peace, and eternal life in their hearts (Romans 2:7),
but those who do evil will have tribulation and suffering within them (Romans 2:9).
Why do people say that faith has no cause and effect?
There is definitely a cause and an effect.
True salvation is when the result of life changes by changing
the cause from the sin within us to the righteousness in Christ.
By faith in the grace of atonement through the cross of Jesus Christ.
