The Beginning of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and Today

In this world, God and the devil, the spirits (gods) of two entities (beings) have been working.

One day, through the guidance of a star, I made a promise to God in blood and began my life of faith. The place I went to after that was the Tabernacle Temple in Gwacheon. The seven messengers of that place began the work of preparing the way for the Lord’s second coming by making a promise with God by cutting the veins in their wrists. I had been doing volunteer work as a manual laborer at this place.

Meanwhile, there was a problem in the church, so I went back to my hometown in the countryside and partook in (worked for) the Saemaeul (New Community/Village) Movement for seven years. Then, one day while I was returning home after going to Jeju Island to visit a friend, before the bridge at the entrance of [my] village, I saw a spiritual being of white light coming from within a cloud from the northeast side of the sky. Thinking, “It’s God,” I fell face-down onto the ground as though dead (that being was Jesus). Jesus came to me, laid his hand on me, raised me up, and commanded me.

Following the command I had received, I once again went to the Tabernacle Temple in Gwacheon. There wasn’t anyone who came to meet me. At this time, I didn’t have a house, money, or even a job to feed myself. [There were times] I sustained my life by going to the mountains and picking wild greens. Even in such circumstances, I went to the top of a boulder in a mountain out front and prayed every day. At this time, I met my old friends one or two at a time and testified the word on the mountains. After gathering in the mountains, testifying the word, and offering worship services for three years, the people who had gathered became about 150 people.

At this time, we gathered in the basement of Dongsan Apartments in Bisan-dong, Anyang City (1984, June 3rd) and offered the first worship service in a temple, announced the holy laws (聖憲) (1984, September 24th), and at this time, I announced 1984 March 14th as the anniversary for the foundation [of Shincheonji]. There wasn’t even a bathroom at this place. A few months later, we went above ground, then to Indeogwon, and then came to Gwacheon. At this time, I held assemblies while traveling across the whole country, I established a church in each place, and I established the 12 tribes and appointed the 12 tribe leaders at Suwon Public Stadium (1995, March 14th). By the 12 tribes taking charge of [their] regions and evangelizing, each tribe filled up and exceeded 12,000 people in an instant.

Would that be all? I established the peace organization Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), became a messenger of peace, [carried out] peace activities worldwide, and hosted the World Peace Summits. Thus, the whole world became one with HWPL. Politics, society, and the world of religion became one through “We are one.” Shincheonji developed rapidly worldwide.

Those who are envious and jealous of this are obstructing Shincheonji’s work. If they do not repent, heaven will not stand idly by and watch.

The saints of the 12 tribes of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony are the promised kingdom and the promised people who have been created according to the prophecies of the New Testament Bible.
