Anti-regime protests in Iran and around the world - in pictures

Demonstrations have spread from the streets of Tehran to the rest of the country and Iranian diplomatic missions overseas. The deadly response of regime forces has left at least 2,500 people dead, according to estimates, with journalists and activists battling throughout a brutal crackdown and communications blackouts to get the story out.
