- 영한 : 짧은 여행을 떠나다, 먼 길을 나서다, 여행 길에 오르다, 출발하다.

- 영영 : to begin a journey , to go away, leave

- 동일 : hit the trail

- 유사 : hit the gym (헬스장을 다니다/운동하러 가다), hit the wall (벽/한계/난관에 부딪치다)

- 예문 : 

She’s hitting the road again in the morning.
그녀는 아침이면 또 여행을 떠납니다.

Larry: I've been talking to Steve and Dick about hiking this weekend. Do you want to join us?

Mark: It would be if you came with me.
마크: 네가 같이 가면 많이 재미있겠는데.

Larry: If that's an invitation I might take you up on it sometime.
래리: 초대하는 거라면 언제 한 번 같이 가지.

Mark: Tell me when you're ready and I'll show you a really good time.
마크: 괜찮을 때 얘기해. 정말 재미있는 곳 많이 데리고 갈게.


[기억할만한 표현]
▶ run into (someone): (누구를) 우연히 만나다.
“I hope that I run into that beautiful girl that I saw yesterday.”
