내가 그 땅에 평화를 줄 것인즉

내가 그 땅에 평화를 줄 것인즉                                                                     (레26:1~12)  레26:1   너희는 자기를 위하여 우상을 만들지 말찌니 목상이나 주상을 세우지 말며 너희 땅에 조각한 석상을 세우고 그에게 경배하지 말라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와임이니라Lev26:1   Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.레26:2   너희는 나의 안식일을 지키며 나의 성소를 공경하라 나는 여호와니라Lev26:2   Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.레26:3   너희가 나의 규례와 계명을 준행하면Lev26:3   If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;레26:4   내가 너희 비를 그 시후에 주리니 땅은 그 산물을 내고 밭의 수목은 열매를 맺을찌라Lev26:4   Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.레26:5   너희의 타작은 포도 딸 때까지 미치며 너희의 포도 따는 것은 파종할 때까지 미치리니 너희가 음식을 배불리 먹고 너희 땅에 안전히 거하리라Lev26:5   And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.레26:6   내가 그 땅에 평화를 줄 것인즉 너희가 누우나 너희를 두렵게 할 자가 없을 것이며 내가 사나운 짐승을 그 땅에서 제할 것이요 칼이 너희 땅에 두루 행하지 아니할 것이며Lev26:6   And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.레26:7   너희가 대적을 쫓으리니 그들이 너희 앞에서 칼에 엎드러질 것이라Lev26:7   And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.레26:8   너희 다섯이 백을 쫓고 너희 백이 만을 쫓으리니 너희 대적들이 너희 앞에서 칼에 엎드러 질 것이며Lev26:8   And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.레26:9   내가 너희를 권고하여 나의 너희와 세운 언약을 이행하여 너희로 번성케 하고 너희로 창대케 할것이며Lev26:9   For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.레26:10   너희는 오래 두었던 묵은 곡식을 먹다가 새 곡식을 인하여 묵은 곡식을 치우게 될 것이며Lev26:10   And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.레26:11   내가 내 장막을 너희 중에 세우리니 내 마음이 너희를 싫어하지 아니할 것이며Lev26:11   And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.레26:12   나는 너희 중에 행하여 너희 하나님이 되고 너희는 나의 백성이 될 것이니라Lev26:12   And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.  * 평화(שׁלוֹם, 솰롬) 원뜻은 ‘온전(안전)하다. 끝내다.’ 전쟁이 종결되고 평온하며, 건강, 재산, 사업 등이 충족하고, 마음이 평온한 상태를 가리킨다. 이 평화의 주체는 언제나 하나님이시다. * 향기로운 냄새(ריח ניחהכם, 레아흐 니호하켐) 분향단에서 드려지는 향을 가리킨다. 여기서는 하나님께 드리는 제사 전체를 상징한다. * 자복하고(ידה, 야다) 원뜻은 ‘던지다, 내던지다.’‘(자신에 관하여) 고백하다, (죄와 허물을) 인정하다’ 는 뜻. * 기억하리라(זכר, 자카르) ‘상기(생각)하다’ 는 뜻 외에 ‘마음에 두다, 잊지 않다, 돌아보다’는 뜻이 내포되어 있다.
