The Avatamsaka Sutra, The Ten Abodes (십주품 31-6)

[眞如華]

     31-6.

     佛是世間大力主      具足一切諸功德

     令諸菩薩住是中      以此敎爲勝丈夫

     부처님은 세간에서 큰 힘 가진 주인이라

     일체 모든 공덕을 갖추었거든

     보살들이 이 가운데 머물게 하여

     이 가르침으로 수승한 대장부가 되게 하도다.

Buddha is the great powerful leader of the world,

Replete with all merits and virtues,

Causing enlightening beings to abide herein,

Thereby teaching them to be superior people.

Buddha; 부처님은

is the great powerful leader

; 큰 힘 가진 주인이라

of the world; 세간에서

Replete with; 갖추었거든

all merits and virtues

; 일체 모든 공덕을

Causing ~ to abide herein

; 이 가운데 머물게 하여

enlightening beings; 보살들이

Thereby teaching them

; 이 가르침으로

to be superior people

; 수승한 대장부가 되게 하도다
