The Avatamsaka Sutra, The Ten Abodes (십주품 31-8)

[眞如華]

     31-8.

     所有寂靜諸三昧      悉皆演暢無有餘

     爲彼菩薩如是說      以此令其不退轉

     고요하고 적정한 모든 삼매를

     모두 다 연설하여 남음이 없고

     보살들을 위하여 이와 같이 설법하여

     이것으로 퇴전하지 않게 하더라.

All the calm and peaceful states of deep meditation

Fully explained without leaving anything out,
Teach like this for the enlightening beings

Whereby to cause them not to regress.

All ~ of deep meditation; 모든 삼매를

the calm and peaceful states

; 고요하고 적정한

Fully explained; 모두 다 연설하여

without leaving anything out; 남음이 없고

Teach like this; 이와 같이 설법하여

for the enlightening beings; 보살들을 위하여

Whereby to cause them; 이것으로

not to regress; 퇴전하지 않게 하더라
