The Avatamsaka Sutra, The Ten Abodes (십주품 33-2)

[眞如華]

     33-2.

     利益大悲安樂心      安住憐愍攝受心

     守護衆生同己心      師心及以導師心

     이익하고 자비하고 안락한 마음과

     안주하고 연민하고 섭수하는 마음과

     내 몸같이 중생을 수호하는 마음과

     스승의 마음과 도사의 마음이로다.

With a mind to aid them, with compassion,

to give them peace and ease,

To establish them securely, with sympathy and acceptance,

Protecting sentient beings, looking upon them as the same as themselves,

As teachers and as guides--

to aid them; 이익하고

with compassion; 자비하고

to give them peace and ease; 안락한

With a mind; 마음과

To establish them securely; 안주하고

with sympathy and acceptance

; 연민하고 섭수하는

as the same as themselves; 내 몸같이

Protecting sentient beings, looking upon them

; 중생을 수호하는

As teachers and; 스승의 마음과

as guides; 도사의 마음이로다
