정청래 더불어민주당 대표는 1일 보수 진영이 배출한 이명박·박근혜·윤석열 전 대통령에 대해 “감옥 3인방을 이제 역사 속으로 보내야 한다”면서 “그러기 위해 이재명 대통령과 함께 하는 민주당 기호 1번에게 투표해달라”고 유권자들에게 호소했다.

정청래 대표는 “아직도 윤석열 내란 우두머리의 부활을 꿈꾸며 ‘윤어게인’을 외치는 세력, 국정농단으로 촛불혁명으로 탄핵당하고 감옥에 갔던 박근혜 전 대통령, 부정부패로 감옥 갔다 온 부정부패의 상징 이명박 전 대통령, 이 ‘감옥 3인방’이 이재명 대통령을 부정하고 흔들고 있다”고 말했다.

정 대표는 6·3 지방선거 사전투표율이 역대 최고인 23.51%를 기록한 데 대해 “이 경이로운 투표율은 사전투표 부정선거론을 외치며 국민을 현혹하는 자들의 주장이 얼마나 민심과 괴리되어 있는지를 여실히 증명하고 있다”면서 “뜨거운 사전투표 열기는 여전히 준동하고 있는 내란 세력을 완전히 청산하고 대한민국을 정상화하라는 국민 여러분의 간절한 염원이 담긴 결과”라고 했다.

또 “투표는 총알보다 강하다. 권력은 총구에서 나오지 않는다. 투표소에서 나온다”면서 “헌법 1조 2항의 ‘대한민국의 주권은 국민에게 있고 모든 권력은 국민으로부터 나온다’는 주권재민의 정신을 발휘해 달라”고 했다.
