0731 Scripture Points to Jesus | 2 Timothy 3:15 | Pastor Jim Cymbala

[The Bible itself] cannot rescue us—true salvation comes /from Jesus /alone.

[The entire purpose of Scripture] is [to point us directly to Him].

* 강조사로 쓰인 재귀 대명사 itself ; 주어를 강조함 The Bible itself  성경 자체

* 주의 ; 재귀 대명사의 또 다른 역할은 대명사 역할로 주어와 목적이 동일한 경우에 목적/전목으로 쓰임  

The sunflower points [itself] towards the sun, (목적)

As we look at this wedding, may it point [itself] to the Savior whose love never fails. (전목)

The Bible speaks /for itself. The Bible points /beyond itself /to the One who is creator, redeemer, sustainer. (전목)

* 보어인 명역 부정사구  [to point us directly to Him].

* 주의 ; 숙어인 'be to~'인 경우는 주어가 부정사의 동작을 하는 주체이므로 '주어가 부정사의 동작을 하기로 되다'이나

   '주어 is 보어/부정사구'인 경우는 부정사구는 주어의 동작이 아니고 주어를 부정사로 재 설명하는 역할이 됨

We are to follow the Lord. 우리는 주님을 따르기로 되어있다

To follow the Lord is to be led by Him and not by self. 주님을 따르기는 자신이 아닌 그분께 인도되기이다

* 삽입절인 형절/주격 관대절을 계속용법이라 하는데 이는 한정용법이 아닌 설명추가 역할인 때문임

which are able to make [you] [wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus]. 

* 삽입절의 해석은 관대절의 내용으로 제한된 성경이 아니고 앞서 언급된 성경을 관대절로 부연설명한다로 함

즉 '지혜롭게 만드는 성경'이 아니고 성경을 아는데, 추가설명하지면, 그 성경은 너를 지혜롭게 만든다

and they have given [you] [the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus].

* 4 형식 능동태 they taught [you] [the holy Scriptures] /from childhood, 간목에게 직목을 동사하다

* 4 형식 given [you] [the wisdom /to receive the salvation //that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus].

* 형역 부정사구 to receive [the salvation //that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus]

                          the wisdom /to receive the salvation 구원을 받게할 지혜

* 주의 ; 결과 설명인 부역 부정사구로 분석하면  given [you] [the wisdom] /to receive the salvation

    '지혜를 준 결과로 구원을 받게한다"로 해석할 수 있으나 개역개정은 형역으로 함; 구원에 이르는 지혜
