Jesus made a distinction between the crowd and his disciples; thus, the appointment of the twelve apostles. Disciples are those who learn from Jesus, while the crowd consists of people who witness or seek to experience Jesus healing the sick and casting out demons. However, disciples are those who have learned the teachings of Jesus. Why? To gain people.
Jesus' disciples are those who have met Jesus and experienced a transformation in their lives. True church workers are those who have learned the teachings of Jesus and have been transformed. This is the essence of the church.
