Built in 1983 by Mr. Jack Wahle in Redwood City, California, this is a one up, one design 43 foot blue water cruiser. According to owners, no others were made… she’s one-of-a-kind!
Accommodations: Overnight accommodations are provided for six people in four berths. Cabin layout includes forward stateroom, head, main saloon, port galley, starboard nav station, and starboard three quarter berth. Forward stateroom includes double berth, vinyl cushions, three storage drawers, two wooden shelves, two storage nets, sunlight/escape hatch, and four fixed (not opening) portholes. Aft to port is large walk-in head with separate shower stall. Head features include manual pump toilet, 12-volt macerator pump (for overboard), Y-valve to holding tank, hot and cold pressurized water, stainless steel sink, linen compartment behind toilet, and six storage drawers. Shower stall includes fiberglass enclosure, handheld shower, stainless steel grab bar, wooden bench seat, window, and plastic shower caddy. Adjacent to head is passageway which features cabinet berth, fabric covered cushion, twelve drawer dresser, clothes rod, and two fixed portholes. The main saloon includes starboard settee and port side dinette. Saloon features include fabric covered cushions, storage under settee, settee shelf storage, and six fixed portholes. Aft to starboard is nav station and three quarter berth. Nav station is equipped with map table, cabinet storage, and mounted electronics. The three quarter berth features under berth storage and fabric covered cushion. Other interior features include 6’ 4” headroom, carpet, Formica inserts with wooden slats, and curtains.
Galley Equipment: Galley equipment includes top and bottom loading refrigerator/freezer (two compressors: one for the refrigerator, and one for the freezer), Gas Systems LPG gimbaled two-burner stove with oven, GE electric microwave, double stainless steel sink, potable freshwater filter system, and heavy duty hot and cold pressurized water. Other galley features include brass analog weather package, Tsunami plaque, wall mounted knife holder, five galley drawers, three storage cubbies, and ample counter space.
Electronic and Navigational Gear: The helm is located in the aft cockpit and equipped with stainless steel leather covered wheel on pedestal, forward/reverse throttle, Ritchie 6” Powerdamp compass, and Navico package which includes knot meter, Windex and depth sounder. Engine gauges are located under companionway and include rpm, temp, oil, volt, and fuel. Electronic and Navigational gear includes Garmin GPS 50, Probe Interphase fishfinder, Icom ICM 120 VHF marine radio, Icom ICM 710 marine transceiver, Furuno 24-nautical mile radar, Navico DS 200 sonar, Navico Powerpilot HP 8000 autopilot, 15” Sylvania TV/VCR with remote, ship’s clock, barometer, thermometer, and USCG approved navigation lights.
Electrical/Gas/Plumbing: Four 6-volt bridged in tandem batteries provide power for the 12-volt and 110-volt electrical system. Additionally, one 12-volt deep cycle battery is dedicated to starting the engine. Other electrical features include Freedom Heart charging system, shore power inlet, ship-to-shore power cord, wind generator, two Siemans solar panels, small back up solar panel, fuse/switch panel, main circuit breaker, accessory panel, battery isolator switch, 12-volt lighting, and 110-volt outlets.
The boat is equipped with heavy duty plumbing for hot and cold freshwater system. Other water/plumbing features include saltwater pump at galley sink, filtered potable freshwater at galley sink, pressurized freshwater to head, 300-gallon fiberglass freshwater tank located under forward berth, 40-gallon holding tank, manual pump toilet, 12-volt macerator pump (for overboard), Y-valve to holding tank, Atlantic stainless steel 10-gallon hot water heater, Whale #10 manual bilge pump, Rule heavy duty 12-volt auto bilge pump, Rule 800 sump pump, and Rule 500 portable bilge pump with hose.
Hull & Deck Gear (Sails/Rigging): The boat is best described as a heavy fin keel, sloop rigged, blue water cruiser/racer with wheel steering. The hull is built of fiberglass, and the decks are fiberglass with non-skid surfacing. Deck layout includes deck at bow, foredeck, side decks, and aft cockpit. Hull and deck gear includes bronze thru hulls, stainless steel bow railing, double lifelines with stainless steel stanchions, black anodized aluminum toe rail bolted to deck, stainless steel deck cleats, two stainless steel foredeck sail rails, self draining cockpit, two bench cockpit seats with lockable storage compartments, separate captain’s bench seat, three cockpit storage cubbies, stainless steel aft deck railing, stainless steel navigation arch (for radar and solar panels), stainless steel stern swim ladder, and aft pulpit mounted portable gas barbeque grill.
Sail inventory includes 120% furling jib (rigged), tri-radial 1.5 ounce cruising spinnaker, 150% Genoa furling (in bag), 90% jib furling (in bag), storm jib, and mainsail with 3-reef points. Rigging includes aluminum mast, aluminum boom, aluminum double spreader, Harken roller furler, and 1 x 19 stainless steel standing rigging. Winch inventory includes Barient #10 single speed, three Barient #17 single speed self tailing, two Barient #32 two speed self tailing, two Barient #27 two speed self tailing, Barient #19 two speed self tailing, and Barient #18 single speed. Three winch handles are provided.
Anchor gear includes Bruce 20 kg anchor, 22S Danforth anchor, 45 lb. plow anchor, 3/8” galvanized chain, 5/8” line, spare ¾” line, bow anchor locker with hatch, stainless steel bow roller, stainless steel flopper stopper, and Muir Capstan electric windlass with foredeck foot switch. Safety gear includes eight PFD’s, two fire extinguishers, flare kit, four three-strand docking lines, four fenders, man overboard pole (needs repair), safety throw line with bag, ship’s bell and six person Avon life raft.
Canvas inventory includes full dodger, mainsail cover, stern roller cover, capstan cover, winch covers, hatch cover, front fixed porthole covers, helm cover, and roller furling UV cover (due for replacement soon). The boat is currently at rest in the boatyard, where she is high and dry. She is due for bottom paint. Current (May 8, 2006) out-of-water survey is available on request.
Equipment & Engine Details: Equipment includes 11’ Zodiac inflatable Hypolon dinghy powered by 15 HP Johnson outboard with stern mount. Other features include oars and pump.
Engine Details: Auxiliary power is provided by 1992 56 HP 4-cylinder Isuzu diesel inboard with 2062 hours. The engine is fueled by 100 gallon aluminum fuel tank. The boat cruises at 7 knots and reaches approximate maximum speed of 9 knots. Other engine features include double Racor water separator, freshwater cooling system, Racor fuel filter, and three-blade bronze prop.
Remarks: The separate cabin areas make this boat very comfortable for cruising or liveaboard. RESOLUTE is a successful Pacific Ocean long-range cruising yacht. Out-of-state owners are extremely motivated to sell!
첫댓글 미국의 젝웨일씨가 1983년에 한척만 건조한 유1무2한 요트. 침실 : 4곳에 모두 6명수용 화장실, 응접실, 옷장등 설비. 냉동, 냉장, 가스바나, 전자렌지, 냉온수공급기,등.. GPS, 어탐, VHF, 트랜시버, 음파탐지기, 레이다, 오토파일롯, TV,VCR.... 풍력발전, 태양열, 6인승비상구명정. 엔진 : 디젤56마력, 존슨15마력딩기, 모두 이상없이 작동하면 더는 필요없을 터.

6~7노트 기주로 계속(24시간) 횡단하면 몇일이나 걸릴까? 누구 계산 함 해줘봐요. 벤쿠버출발 센다이도착.
쉽게 10km/hr로 운항하면, 대충 1만 km(지구둘레를 4만km로보면 대충 1/4) 1000시간 나누기 24 = 42일. 30일에 오려면, 14km/hr. 보따리 다시 풀어요 Ricky.
아무래도 우리 "노인과 바다님"이 사고칠것만 같은 느낌이 드네요. 아이디가 헤밍헤이를 연상하는데 정말 헤밍헤이가 될 것만 같아요.
벤쿠버에서 센다이까지 구글에서 찍어보니 4500 마일이다 / (7노트 크루저니까 곱하기 24는 하루 168 마일)=27일 걸린다. 디젤 5드럼? 두드럼 연료통에 채우고 따로 드럼통 3개더 싣고오면 되겠다.
