- 영한 : (잠이 들지 못하고) 뒤척이다, 설치다.

- 영영 : [Verb] (of someone lying down, asleep or attempting to sleep) to be constantly moving, unable to lie still

메리: 맞아. 눕자마자 곯아 떨어졌어.

Beth: That's good. I don't always fall asleep quickly when I go to bed.
베스: 좋겠다. 난 곧바로 잠들지 못해서 말이야.

Mary: I know what you mean. I usually toss and turn.
메리: 그 심정 내가 알지. 나도 뒤척이는 편이거든.

Beth: I made a big salad for lunch. Would you like to join me?
베스: 점심 때 먹으려고 샐러드 많이 만들어 왔는데. 같이 먹을래?

Mary: Thanks. I would.
메리: 고마워. 그러자.


[기억할만한 표현]
