God has [a plan /for our lives]

—but the enemy tries [to pull us /off course /by targeting our weaknesses].

Let’s stand firm /by clinging to God’s truth and fighting the good fight of faith.

* 동사 및 명사로 쓰인 Fight ; Fight [the Good Fight] 선한 싸움을 싸워라

  한글은 어미변형으로 동사를 명사로 만드는데 영어는 단지 위치만 바꾸어 품사 역할을 바꾸나 ; 싸워라 싸움을

  철자를 약간 바꾸어 명사형과 동사형을 구별하는 경우도 있으나 쓰인 위치만 잘 파악되면 구별은 어렵지 않고

  동사는 조동사를 가지며 시제활용/준동사도 되지만 명사는 단수/복수 활용과 형용사의 수식을 받는 게 다르다

* 5 형식 Let [us] [stand firm /by clinging to God’s truth and fighting the good fight of faith].

* 목보인 원형부정사구 (to) stand firm /by clinging to God’s truth and fighting the good fight of faith.

* 불자 stand의 보어인 형용사 firm

* 완료시제 have+pp ; have fought ; 과거에서 현재까지 계속됨

* 명사로 쓰인 fight는 형용사 good의 수식을 받음

I have fought [the good fight], I have finished [the race], and I have remained faithful.

* 불자 remained의 보어인 형용사 faithful. 형용사 상태로 남아있다
