[사랑하는 나의 가족]

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 사무엘상18장

1. 다윗이 사울에게 말하기를 마치매 요나단의 혼이 다윗의 혼과 밀착되어 요나단이 그를 자기 혼같이 사랑하니라.

And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

2. 그 날에 사울이 다윗을 데리고 가서 다시는 그가 그의 아버지 집으로 돌아가는 것을 허락하지 아니하니라.

And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his fathers house.

3. 그때에 요나단이 다윗을 자기 혼같이 사랑하였으므로 요나단과 다윗이 언약을 맺었으며

Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.

4. 요나단이 자기가 입은 겉옷을 벗어 다윗에게 주었고 또 자기 옷과 칼과 활과 띠도 그리하였더라.

And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that [was] upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.

5. 사울이 다윗을 보내는 곳마다 그가 가서 지혜롭게 행동하매 사울이 그를 세워 군사들을 다스리게 하였더니 온

    백성의 눈앞에서와 사울의 신하들의 눈앞에서 그가 인정을 받으니라.

And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, [and] behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Sauls servants. 

6. 그들이 돌아올 때 곧 다윗이 그 블레셋 사람을 살육하고 돌아올 때에 여인들이 이스라엘의 모든 도시에서 나아와

    노래하고 춤추며 작은북과 악기를 가지고 기뻐하며 사울 왕을 맞이하더라.

And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick. 

7. 여인들이 놀며 서로 화답하여 이르되, 사울이 죽인 자는 수천이요, 다윗은 수만이로다, 하니라.

And the women answered [one another] as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.

8. 사울이 심히 노하고 그 말을 기쁘게 여기지 아니하였으므로 이르되, 그들이 다윗에게는 수만을 돌리고 내게는

    수천만 돌리니 왕국 외에 그가 더 얻을 것이 무엇이겠느냐? 하고

And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed [but] thousands: and [what] can he have more but the kingdom? 

9. 그 날 이 후로 사울이 다윗을 주목하였더라.

And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.

10. 그 다음 날 [하나님]에게서 온 악한 영이 사울에게 임하매 그가 집의 한가운데서 대언을 하더라. 다윗이 다른 때와

      같이 손으로 하프를 켜더라. 사울의 손에 창이 있었으므로

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and [there was] a javelin in Sauls hand.

11. 사울이 그 창을 던졌으니 이는 그가 말하기를, 내가 창으로 다윗을 쳐서 벽에 박으리라, 하였기 때문이더라.

      다윗이 그의 앞에서 두 번 피하였더라.

And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall [with it]. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

12. {주}께서 사울을 떠나 다윗과 함께 계시므로 사울이 그를 두려워하니라.

And Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul.

13. 그러므로 사울이 그를 옮겨서 자기를 떠나게 하고 또 그를 천인 대장으로 삼으매 그가 백성 앞에서 나가고

      들어오며

Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.

14. 자기의 모든 길에서 지혜롭게 행동하니라. {주}께서 그와 함께 계시니라.

And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD [was] with him. 

15. 그러므로 그가 매우 지혜롭게 행동하는 것을 사울이 보고 그를 두려워하였으나

Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him.

16. 온 이스라엘과 유다는 다윗이 자기들 앞에서 나가고 들어왔으므로 그를 사랑하였더라.

But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he went out and came in before them.

17.사울이 다윗에게 이르되, 내 맏딸 메랍을 보라. 내가 그녀를 네게 아내로 주리니 오직 너는 나를 위하여 용맹스럽게

     되고 {주}의 싸움을 싸우라, 하니라. 이는 사울이 말하기를, 내 손을 그에게 대지 아니하고 블레셋 사람들의 손을

     그에게 대리라, 하였기 때문이더라.

And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife: only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORDS battles. For Saul said, Let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him. 

18. 다윗이 사울에게 이르되, 내가 누구니이까? 이스라엘 안에서 내 삶이나 내 아버지 집이 무엇이기에 내가 왕의

      사위가 되리이까? 하였더라.

And David said unto Saul, Who [am] I? and what [is] my life, [or] my fathers family in Israel, that I should be son in law to the king?

19. 그러나 사울의 딸 메랍을 다윗에게 주어야 했을 때에 그가 그녀를 므홀랏 사람 아드리엘에게 아내로 주니라.

But it came to pass at the time when Merab Sauls daughter should have been given to David, that she was given unto Adriel the Meholathite to wife.

20. 사울의 딸 미갈이 다윗을 사랑하매 그들이 사울에게 고하므로 사울이 그 일을 기쁘게 여기고

And Michal Sauls daughter loved David: and they told Saul, and the thing pleased him. 

21. 이르되, 내가 그녀를 그에게 주어 그녀가 그에게 올무가 되게 하고 블레셋 사람들의 손이 그를 치게 하리라,

      하고는 그런 까닭에 다윗에게 이르되, 이 날 네가 그 둘 가운데 하나로 말미암아 내 사위가 되리라, 하니라.

And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in [the one of] the twain.

22. 사울이 자기 신하들에게 명령하여 이르되, 다윗과 은밀히 대화하며 이르기를, 보라, 왕이 너를 기뻐하시고 그의

      모든 신하도 너를 사랑하니 그런즉 이제 왕의 사위가 되라, 하라.

And Saul commanded his servants, [saying], Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the kings son in law.

23. 사울의 신하들이 그 말들을 다윗의 귀에 말하매 다윗이 이르되, 왕의 사위가 되는 것이 너희에게는 가벼운 일로

      보이느냐? 나는 가난하고 하찮은 사람이라, 하니라.

And Sauls servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to you [a] light [thing] to be a kings son in law, seeing that I [am] a poor man, and lightly esteemed?

24. 사울의 신하들이 사울에게 고하여 이르되, 다윗이 이런 식으로 말하더이다, 하매

And the servants of Saul told him, saying, On this manner spake David. 

25. 사울이 이르되, 너희는 다윗에게 이같이 말하기를, 왕이 아무런 지참금도 원치 아니하고 다만 왕의 원수들을

      보복하기 위하여 블레셋 사람들의 포피 백 개를 원하신다, 하라, 하니라. 그러나 사울은 블레셋 사람들의 손으로

      다윗을 쓰러뜨리려고 생각하였더라.

And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the kings enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

26. 사울의 신하들이 이 말들을 다윗에게 고하매 다윗이 왕의 사위가 되는 것을 매우 기쁘게 여기니라. 날들이 차지

      아니하였으므로

And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the kings son in law: and the days were not expired. 

27. 다윗이 일어나 자기 사람들과 함께 가서 블레셋 사람들 중에서 이백 명을 죽이고 그들의 포피를 가져다가 그 모든

      수대로 왕에게 드려 왕의 사위가 되려 하매 사울이 자기 딸 미갈을 다윗에게 아내로 주었더라.

Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the kings son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.

28. {주}께서 다윗과 함께 계시며 사울의 딸 미갈도 그를 사랑하는 것을 사울이 보고 알았으므로

And Saul saw and knew that the LORD [was] with David, and [that] Michal Sauls daughter loved him.

29. 사울이 다윗을 더욱 두려워하여 계속해서 다윗의 원수가 되니라.

And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became Davids enemy continually.

30. 그때에 블레셋 사람들의 통치자들이 나아왔는데 그들이 나아온 후에 다윗이 사울의 모든 신하보다 더 지혜롭게

      행동하므로 그의 이름이 매우 중히 여겨지니라.

Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, [that] David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.
