Total War Shogun 2: The Tenka Fubu Campaign Version 1.0.4a
^^ Download Version 1.0.4a ^^
The Tenka Fubu Campaign is a Total Conversion for Total War: Shogun 2. Set in 1580, 35 years after the events of the original game and during the height of Oda Nobunaga's reign, the Tenka Fubu Campaign offers a new challenge to players with the addition of new clans, units and gameplay features. With more than 50 clans, many of which are 100% brand-new, users of the Tenka Fubu Campaign will find Japan a very different place then in was during the default Shogun 2 Campaign, set in 1545. Many clans, such as the Oda, Takeda, Uesugi, Hojo, Chosokabe and Mori, have expanded their territory become very powerful which allows for a much more interesting and challenging campaign with multiple powerful clans all attempting to gain control. A larger collection of images can be seem in my Tenka Fubu Album .About Me "How long have you been working on the Tenka Fubu Campaign?" I started work on the project back in June-July 2012."Have you done modding in the past?" I've modded a few games in the past, most notably games from the Elder Scrolls series; Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. But I had never worked on a Total War game. This was my first Total War mod, so I guess I was a bit ambitious to choose a mod as big as Tenka Fubu to make, but it seems to have payed off. About the Tenka Fubu Campaign "Is the Tenka Fubu Campaign Multiplayer compatible?" I've been playing a Multiplayer Campaign with no issues. Just make sure that both players have the exact same version of the mod and are using the same options. I would advise against using Avatar mode, as the replacement of some units, etc. is sure to cause some issues. However, I cannot guarantee that this will be the case for all users. If you feel like being extra safe and do not want to risk losing your avatar, deactivate the Tenka Fubu Campaign before going into multiplayer."Is the Tenka Fubu Campaign compatible with the Sekigahara Campaign?" Unfortunately, no. As both the Tenka Fubu and Sekigahara Campaigns replace the default one, you cannot run both at once."Is the Tenka Fubu Campaign compatible with other large-scale mods, such as TROM or DarthMod?" Personally, I would recommend against using those mods with the Tenka Fubu Campaign. As some values are already being changed by the Tenka Fubu Campaign, doubling up by using similar mods will likely cause huge balance issues."Do I need any other programs (such as the CA Modding Equipment) for this mod?" No, it is simply a matter of copying the files from the download into a certain folder and playing."Can I upload this mod on another site?" I would ask you not to upload the Tenka Fubu Campaign to places like the Steam Workshop or sites other than Total War Center. Thank you."I've just updated my version of the Tenka Fubu Campaign, do I need to start my game again?" In most cases, you can continue with your current Tenka Fubu save game without any hassles. But if you start getting strange occurrences and bugs, try starting a new game. If that still doesn't work, please report it as a bug. Alternatively, you can hold off on updating the Tenka Fubu Campaign until you have finished with your current save game."Can I use a part of the Tenka Fubu Campaign in my mod?" Please check with me via PM before doing so. If it is something that I have made myself, I will usually say yes, provided you give credit. But if another person had made what you are asking for, I will forward you onto them for permission."Can I make a suggestion for the Tenka Fubu Campaign?" Of course! Simply post your suggestion in this thread and I will find the time to read it and reply with my opinion. Crash on Loading/Splash Screen This is likely caused by the user.script.txt file. This is usually located in your "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\scripts\" folder. You can either delete or move it out of that folder, just like moving the mods out of the data folder. Or, you can open the file and remove all lines like this: "mod xxxxx.pack;" . You may have to re-enter these lines in when reverting back to your normal Shogun 2 mods, so I recommend simply moving the user.script.txt file somewhere else.Error when using the Tenka Fubu Launcher The only reason that I know of that would cause an error with the Tenka Fubu Launcher itself would be that the .exe file has been moved. The Tenka Fubu Launcher.exe must remain in your Shogun 2 directory, usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\total war shogun 2\" . You can make shortcuts to it on the desktop, etc. but you cannot move the file itself. You may also need to update your .NET framework. Also, it hasn't been tested on a non-Windows OS, so I don't know how that'll go...Sound Issues If you are having issues with units having incorrect sounds (Bow Ashigaru make Matchlock sounds, for instance), I recommend using the Sinfonia Semplice tool, made by crux3D. It has fixed any errors that I have found concerning sounds and is easy-to-use. Download and install/uninstall instructions are here:http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=544459 I can't select to play as the Shibata, Honganji or Otomo Clan The Shibata Clan require you to have installed the Hattori Clan Pack DLC. The Honganji Clan require you to have installed the Ikko Ikki Clan Pack DLC. The Otomo Clan require you to have installed the Otomo Clan Pack DLC. If you come across a bug, please let me know either by posting on this thread, or by Private Message. If possible, try to include screenshots as they help a lot in understanding what the issue is. Before reporting a bug, please make sure that you have the latest version of the Tenka Fubu Campaign and please take the time to check the 'Known Bugs' list below. If the bug that you have encountered is already on the list, it will (hopefully) be fixed by the next update and there is no need to let me know.
