Koreans eat steamed rice every single day when they have meals. Most households have a rice cooker. You just have to wash the rice, set it in the rice cooker, and press the cook button. Normally, it takes 30 minutes max for the machine to cook rice. It also keeps the rice in it warm as long as you have it on. Meanwhile, rice cookers do a lot more than just cook rice these days. They come with various functions. You can cook all sorts of stuff such as eggs in them. Another useful function is the pre-set timer. You can make it cook rice automatically in the morning. You just have to set the timer before you go to sleep.
