It's nice to hear from you. I would love to give an update on my experience:

Staying with my host family was incredible. It was a fabulous introduction to Korean culture and way of life. They were extremely hospitable and friendly. We went hiking, ate traditional Korean food, and relaxed in their traditional "warming hut." We also worked a bit in the herb garden, tending to the plants and learning about each one. My host mom uses rosemary in her kimchi, which provides such a unique and refreshing flavor. We laughed a lot and shared stories. I learned so much from them and can't wait for my visit again in the spring!
