73:1.1 (821.4) Sur une planète normale, l’arrivée du Fils Matériel annonce généralement l’approche d’un grand âge d’inventions, de progrès matériels et d’éclairement intellectuel. L’ère postadamique est le grand âge scientifique sur la plupart des mondes, mais il n’en fut pas ainsi sur Urantia. Bien que la planète fut peuplée de races physiquement aptes, les tribus languissaient dans des abimes de sauvagerie et de stagnation morale.

73:1.1 (821.4) On a normal planet the arrival of the Material Son would ordinarily herald the approach of a great age of invention, material progress, and intellectual enlightenment. The post-Adamic era is the great scientific age of most worlds, but not so on Urantia. Though the planet was peopled by races physically fit, the tribes languished in the depths of savagery and moral stagnation.

73:1.1 (821.4) 정상(正常) 행성에서 물질 아들이 도착하는 것은 보통, 발명과 물질적 진보와 지적 깨우침이 있는 중대한 시대가 다가옴을 알릴 것이다. 대부분의 세계에서 아담 이후 시대는 대단한 과학 시대이지만, 유란시아에서는 그렇지 않았다. 육체적으로 건강한 종족들이 행성에 살았지만, 부족들은 야만스럽고 도덕적으로 침체된 늪에서 시들고 있었다.
