Good evening everyone.  The Old Testament reading for Sunday worship will be Psalm 119:113-120 and the New Testament reading will be 2 Corinthians 1:3-5ㅁ.  My sermon text will be Romans 13 and the English vocabulary is: Subject to, govern (governing), instituted, resist, appoint(ed), incur, terroㅔr, conduct, approval, vain, avenger, wrath, wrongdoer, subjection, avoid, conscience, revenue, honor fulfilled, covet, summed up, cast off, armor, properly, and gratify. 시편 119편

Psalm 119

113. ○내가 두 마음 품는 자들을 미워하고 주의 법을 사랑하나이다

I hate double-minded people,

but I love your law.

114. 주는 나의 은신처요 방패시라 내가 주의 말씀을 바라나이다

You are my refuge and my shield;

I have put my hope in your word.

115. 너희 행악자들이여 나를 떠날지어다 나는 내 하나님의 계명들을 지키리로다

Away from me, you evildoers,

that I may keep the commands of my God!

116. 주의 말씀대로 나를 붙들어 살게 하시고 내 소망이 부끄럽지 않게 하소서

Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live;

do not let my hopes be dashed.

117. 나를 붙드소서 그리하시면 내가 구원을 얻고 주의 율례들에 항상 주의하리이다

Uphold me, and I will be delivered;

I will always have regard for your decrees.

118. 주의 율례들에서 떠나는 자는 주께서 다 멸시하셨으니 그들의 속임수는 허무함이니이다

You reject all who stray from your decrees,

for their delusions come to nothing.

119. 주께서 세상의 모든 악인들을 찌꺼기 같이 버리시니 그러므로 내가 주의 증거들을 사랑하나이다

All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross;

therefore I love your statutes.

120. 내 육체가 주를 두려워함으로 떨며 내가 또 주의 심판을 두려워하나이다

My flesh trembles in fear of you;

I stand in awe of your laws.

 고린도후서 1장

 2 Corinthians 1

3. 찬송하리로다 그는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님이시요 자비의 아버지시요 모든 위로의 하나님이시며

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

4. 우리의 모든 환난 중에서 우리를 위로하사 우리로 하여금 하나님께 받는 위로로써 모든 환난 중에 있는 자들을 능히 위로하게 하시는 이시로다

who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

5. 그리스도의 고난이 우리에게 넘친 것 같이 우리가 받는 위로도 그리스도로 말미암아 넘치는도다

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

 로마서 13장

Romans 13 

1. 각 사람은 위에 있는 권세들에게 복종하라 권세는 하나님으로부터 나지 않음이 없나니 모든 권세는 다 하나님께서 정하신 바라

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

2. 그러므로 권세를 거스르는 자는 하나님의 명을 거스름이니 거스르는 자들은 심판을 자취하리라

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

3. 다스리는 자들은 선한 일에 대하여 두려움이 되지 않고 악한 일에 대하여 되나니 네가 권세를 두려워하지 아니하려느냐 선을 행하라 그리하면 그에게 칭찬을 받으리라

For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended.

4. 그는 하나님의 사역자가 되어 네게 선을 베푸는 자니라 그러나 네가 악을 행하거든 두려워하라 그가 공연히 칼을 가지지 아니하였으니 곧 하나님의 사역자가 되어 악을 행하는 자에게 진노하심을 따라 보응하는 자니라

For the one in authority is Godʼs servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are Godʼs servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

5. 그러므로 복종하지 아니할 수 없으니 진노 때문에 할 것이 아니라 양심을 따라 할 것이라

Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

6. 너희가 조세를 바치는 것도 이로 말미암음이라 그들이 하나님의 일꾼이 되어 바로 이 일에 항상 힘쓰느니라

This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are Godʼs servants, who give their full time to governing.

7. 모든 자에게 줄 것을 주되 조세를 받을 자에게 조세를 바치고 관세를 받을 자에게 관세를 바치고 두려워할 자를 두려워하며 존경할 자를 존경하라

Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

8. ○피차 사랑의 빚 외에는 아무에게든지 아무 빚도 지지 말라 남을 사랑하는 자는 율법을 다 이루었느니라

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

9. 간음하지 말라, 살인하지 말라, 도둑질하지 말라, 탐내지 말라 한 것과 그 외에 다른 계명이 있을지라도 네 이웃을 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라 하신 그 말씀 가운데 다 들었느니라

The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

10. 사랑은 이웃에게 악을 행하지 아니하나니 그러므로 사랑은 율법의 완성이니라

Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

11. ○또한 너희가 이 시기를 알거니와 자다가 깰 때가 벌써 되었으니 이는 이제 우리의 구원이 처음 믿을 때보다 가까웠음이라

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

12. 밤이 깊고 낮이 가까웠으니 그러므로 우리가 어둠의 일을 벗고 빛의 갑옷을 입자

The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

13. 낮에와 같이 단정히 행하고 방탕하거나 술 취하지 말며 음란하거나 호색하지 말며 다투거나 시기하지 말고

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.

14. 오직 주 예수 그리스도로 옷 입고 정욕을 위하여 육신의 일을 도모하지 말라

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
