詩에 숨긴 비밀

운서 김건휘

잊을 때쯤 다시 살아나는

능소화 줄기 잔뿌리 닮은 이야기

편집해도 결국 같은 결말이기에

던져 놓은 단어들은 늘 제자리다

그래야만 했다는 자위적 기억엔

그의 대답은 없고

되풀이되는 긴 질문만 있을 뿐이다

그러다 사무쳐버린 응어리는

흔적에만 있다가 지쳐버렸다

물구나무서기로 떠 있는 보름달

깽깽이로 달리는 별

부딪힌 바람은

상처 없을 풍경을 그리고 있다.

Secrets Hidden in a Poem

A story like the tendrils and rootlets

of a trumpet vine—

It comes alive again

the moment people begin to forget it.

No matter how often it is revised,

the story always ends the same way.

The scattered words

remain where they have always been.

Within the self-serving thought

that “it has to be done anyway,”

his answer cannot be found;

only a long, recurring question remains.

The bitterness rooted deep within,

leaving only faint traces,

gradually wears itself away.

The full moon standing on its hands—

the stars trotting on one foot—

A headwind sketches an unscathed landscape.
