The place we must leave behind and the place to which we must go(Genesis 12:1~3)

  Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.”(1)

  As we live our lives, there are undoubtedly moments we encounter when we must make an important decision. At such times, we must make decisions concerning all things according to the standard of God’s Word. The same was true for Abraham, the patriarch of faith. He knew the place he must leave behind and the place to which he must go. There are a few things that we must know in order to walk the path of our lives that God has prepared in faith, just like Abraham.

1. The place we must leave behind

  By sending Jesus Christ, God granted true freedom to us who had no choice but to completely perish. That is why we must hold on to the Gospel alone and leave behind all scars and unbelief. We must cast aside all things that cause us to fall into addiction and obsession. Moreover, we must leave behind the things that make our souls desolate and lead us to destruction.

2. The place to which we must go

  There are places to which we must go. It is focusing on only Gospel and deeply entering into it. Every day we must enter deeply into the truth of only Jesus Christ, into the mystery of only the kingdom of God, and into the power of the filling of the Holy Spirit alone. It is at this time that our incorrect imprints, roots and nature are completely healed and world evangelization that will be fulfilled through us begins.

3. Start of true answers

  God blessed Abraham who left Ur of the Chaldeans and entered Canaan as he held on to the Word of God. God fulfilled all the promises that He gave to Abraham and said, “I am your shield, your great reward.” God who was with Abraham is the God who is with us right now. Starting now we must begin the confession of faith as we hold on to the covenant so that the answers that God has allowed are manifested in our lives.

[Prayer of the Evangelist] Father God! Let all scars and unbelief depart from us. Let us deeply enter into the Gospel that You have given to us, so that Your true answers for us may begin.
