The Avatamsaka Sutra, The Ten Abodes (십주품 41-3)

[眞如華]

     41-3.

     發心調伏亦無邊      咸令趣向大菩提

     一切法界咸觀察      十方國土皆往詣

     발심하고 조복함도 그지없어서

     큰 보리에 향하여 나아가게 하고

     일체 법계를 모두 다 관찰하면서

     시방의 모든 국토에 다 나아가네.

Inspiring and training boundless beings too,

Causing them all to turn to great enlightenment.

Observing all phenomenal realms,

They travel to all lands in the ten directions;

Inspiring and; 발심하고

training boundless beings too; 조복함도 그지없어서

Causing them all to turn; 향하여 나아가게 하고

to great enlightenment; 큰 보리에

Observing; 다 관찰하면서

all phenomenal realms; 일체 법계를 모두

They travel to all lands; 모든 국토에 다 나아가네

in the ten directions; 시방의
