奸計(간계)는 간악한 계략으로 사람을 해치는 것이다.
  Gan-gye(奸計,간계) means to harm another person through a wicked
  and deceitful stratagem.
  
간악하다는 것은 요사스러운 기능이니 간악함으로 일을 하면 화환이 없을 수가 없으며
물건에 간악함이 있으면 패망하지 않을 수가 없다.
  To be wicked and deceitful is a sinister capability;
  therefore, if one conducts matters with wickeddness,
  there can never be a lack of disasters and misfortunes.
  If there is wickedness infused within things or properties,
  they cannot avoid utterruin and failure.

하물며 간악함으로 남을 해치는 것은 그 계략이 흰 눈 위에 붉고 푸른물을 들인 것 같이
확연하니 어찌 사라질 수 있을 것인가?
 How much mireso, then, when harming others through wickedness?
 Since that devious scheme is as vividly evident as staining red and blue dyes
 over pure white snow, how could it ever fade away or disappear?

奸計者는 奸計傷人也라 奸은 妖邪之技能也니 (간계상인야라 간은 요사지기능야니)
  Gan-gye(奸計,간계 - A crafty plot) means to harm another person through a wicked
  and deceitful stratagem. Wickedness(奸,간) is a sinister and heretical capability;

奸於事면 未有不患者요 (간어사면 미유불환자요)
  Therefore, if one introduces wickedness into affairs or matters,
  there has never been a case where disasters and misfortunes do not arise.

奸於物이면 未有不敗者온 (간어물이면 미유불패자온)
  If there is wickedness infused within things or properties,
  there has never been a case where they do not face utter ruin and failure.

況以奸傷其計가 能丹靑於雪而不消乎아. (황이간상기계가 능단청어설이불소호아.)
  How much more so, then, when one uses a wicked scheme to cause harm?
  That devious plot is like laying red and blue colors(丹靑,단청) upon pure white snow;
   how could it ever fade aeay or disappear without being noticed?


※ Key Interpretations.
   ● 요사스러운 기능(a sinister capability) : 정당하지 못하고 바르지 못한,
             사악하고 요상한 수단이나 재주를 뜻합니다.
    ●  화환(화와 근심 / disasters and misfortunes) : 재앙 禍(화)에 근심 患(환)을 써서,
             살아가면서 겪는 온갖 재난과 걱정거리를 의미합니다.
    ●  흰 눈 위에 붉고 푸른 물을 들인 것 같이 확연하니(as vividly evident as staining red and blue dyes
              over pure white snow) : 하얀 눈 위에 원색의 물감이 떨어지면 멀리서도 뚜렷하게 보이듯,
              간악한 꾀로 남을 해친 죄상은 하늘과 세상 앞에 너무나 투명하고 명백하게 드러나기 때문에
              절대로 숨기거나 지울 수 없다는 강력한 비유입니다.
   ● 妖邪之技能(요사지기능) : 바르지 못하고 사악하며 요망한(妖邪,요사) 재주나 수단을 뜻합니다
                                       (sinister and heretical capability).
   ● 未有不患(미유불환)/ 未有不敗(미유불패) : "재앙(患,환)이 차지 않은 적이 없고,
             패망(敗,패)하지 않은 적이 없다"는 갈력한 비중 부정을 통해 간악한 꾀의 끝은
             무조건적인 파멸임을 강조하는 고전적 문구입니다.
   ● 丹靑(단청) : 붉은 빛(丹,단)과 푸른 빛(靑,청)을 뜻하며, 흔히 전통 목조건물에 칠하는
                      화려한 채색을 의미합니다. 여기서는 하얀 눈 위의 원색물감(丹靑,단청)을
                      칠해놓은 것처럼 죄상이 너무나 뚜렸하고 선명하게 드러나 절대로 숨길 수 없음을
                      비유하는 핵심 표현입니다.
