<p>The vine-growers mentioned in today's parable are the leaders of Jerusalem, including the chief priests, scribes, and elders previously mentioned. They are the evil shepherds repeatedly prophesied by the prophets in the Old Testament.</p><p> </p><p>The servants represent prophets like John the Baptist mentioned earlier. The Bible repeatedly shows how Israel treated prophets like John the Baptist.</p><p> </p><p>God uses everything, even evil people, to accomplish His work. But in that usage, I must stand on God's side to receive salvation.
