Bible Reading - John 10:11~20

10:11 "I am the good shepherd. 나는 선한 목자이다. 

The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

선한 목자는 양들을 위해 그의 목숨을 내려놓는다.

10:12 The hired hand(고용된 일꾼) is not the shepherd who owns the sheep.

고용된 일꾼은 양을 소유한 목자가 아니다.

So when he sees the wolf coming, 그래서 그가 늑대가 오는 것을 볼때

he abandons the sheep and runs away. 그는 양들을 버리고 도망친다.

Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 그때 늑대는 양무리를 공격하여 흩어놓는다.

10:13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

그는 고용된 일꾼이고 양에 대해 전혀 관심이 없기 때문에 그 사람은 도망친다.

10:14 "I am the good shepherd; 나는 선한 목자이다.

I know my sheep and my sheep know me-- 나는 내 양을 알고 내 양도 나를 안다. 

10:15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father--

아버지께서 나를 아시는 것처럼 나는 아버지를 안다 

and I lay down my life for the sheep.그리고 나는 양들을 위해 내 생명을 내려 놓는다.

10:16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen.

나는 이 양우리에 있지 않은 다른 양을 가지고 있다.

I must bring them also. 나는 그들도 역시 데려와야만 한다.

 They too will listen to my voice, 그들 역시 내 음성을 들을 것이며 

and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 한 무리와 한 목자가 있을 것이다.

10:17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life--only to take it up again.

내 아버지께서 나를 사랑하시는 이유는 내가 내 생명을 내려 놓는 것이며 오직 그것을 다시 취하기 위함이다. 

10:18 No one takes it from me, 아무도 나로부터 그것을 취하지 못한다.

but I lay it down of my own accord(내 의지에 따라). 그러나 나는 내 의지에 따라 그것을 내려 놓는다.

I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again.

나는 그것을 내려 놓을 권세와 그것을 다시 취할 권세를 가지고 있다.

This command I received from my Father." 이 명령을 내가 내 아버지로부터 받았다. 

10:19 At these words the Jews were again divided.이 말씀에 유대인들은 다시 나뉘어졌다.

10:20 Many of them said, 그들 중에 많은 사람들이 

 "He is demon-possessed and raving mad(미쳐있다). Why listen to him?"

그는 귀신에 들려 미쳤다. 왜 그에게 들어야 하는가?
