<p>The question Jesus asked in today's passage was meant for listening and understanding, and also to save them. The Messiah who will come anew is not simply someone who restores the kingdom of Israel, but someone who proclaims the kingdom of God that will come into the whole world.</p><p> </p><p>Furthermore, Jesus warns not to imitate the scribes who do not live according to the Word. They are those who seek recognition in whatever they do, exploiting and tormenting the weak. They subject the weak to trials, causing them to lose even their existing faith. And they are hypocrites.</p><p> </p><p>True faith must be revealed through our actions.
