<p>Let's first understand the time when the incident in today's passage took place. This event occurred after Jesus finished teaching in the temple and warned against the hypocrisy of the scribes. Therefore, it can be seen that Jesus' words were very intentional.</p><p> </p><p>The words spoken by Jesus were to show what kind of person God is through the offering of a poor widow. The poor widow had faith that God was someone in whom she could entrust her entire life and livelihood. Because she completely trusted and relied on God, her offering was considered greater than the offerings of the wealthy.</p><p> </p><p>Furthermore, through this widow's offering, Jesus shows how we should dedicate ourselves to God. Through this event, Jesus desires that his disciples and all holy people of God love God and live solely by faith in Him.
