4-5.     不但爲敎爾所衆生      令修五戒十善業道      敎住四禪四無量心四無色定      敎得須陀洹果      斯陀含果      阿那含果      阿羅漢果      辟支佛道故      發菩提心      다만 그렇게 많은 중생들을 가르쳐서 오계와 십선업도를 닦게 하거나, 사선정, 사무량심, 사무색정에 머물게 하거나, 수다원과나 사다함과나 아나함과나 아라한과나 벽지불도를 얻게 하기 위하여 보리심을 낸 것이 아니니라. They do not set their minds on enlightenment just to teach that many beings to cultivate the five precepts and the path of ten morality and virtues, just to teach them to abide in the four meditations, four immeasurable minds, and four formless concentrations, just to teach them to attain the states of stream-enterer, once-returner, nonreturner, sainthood, and the path of the self-enlightened.  just to teach that many beings; 다만 그렇게 많은 중생들을 가르쳐서 They do not set their minds on enlightenment; 보리심을 낸 것이 아니니라to cultivate; 닦게 하거나the five precepts and; 오계와 the path of ten morality and virtues; 십선업도를 to abide in; 머물게 하거나, the four meditations; 사선정 four immeasurable minds; 사무량심four formless concentrations; 사무색정에to attain; 얻게 하기 위하여the states of stream-enterer; 수다원과once-returner; 사다함과nonreturner; 아나함과sainthood; 아라한과the path of the self-enlightened; 벽지불도
