The top 10 don't budge in the latest edition of our Big Board. In many ways, this board has been as steady as it's been in years.
Neither a couple of bad games from Andrew Wiggins nor an out-of-character outburst from Marcus Smart is shaking up the board (our previous edition can be viewed here). With NBA scouts getting more confident in their scouting reports, the search is turning to the second half of the draft, where the movement is much more volatile.
Here is our seventh Big Board for the 2014 NBA draft.
1Joel EmbiidSCHOOL: KansasAGE: 19HT/WT: 7-0, 240POS: C
10.9 PPG7.8 RPG2.6 BPG
Embiid has risen to the top of most draft boards in the NBA. But his play over the last few weeks hasn't been stellar. He looks banged up and is clearly not playing with the motor or passion that he did early in the season. He's still No. 1, but his meteoric rise has stalled.

2Andrew WigginsSCHOOL: KansasAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-8, 200POS: SG
16.0 PPG6.0 RPG1.7 APG
Wiggins is in a shooting slump. He's back to being on again and off again. The good news is that his defense has been stellar, and he's been attacking the rim. He needs to get better at finishing at the basket, but his increased aggressiveness is a good sign.
Previous rank: No. 2 | PLAYER CARD
3Jabari ParkerSCHOOL: DukeAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-8, 241POS: SF
19.2 PPG8.5 RPG1.3 APG
Looks as though Parker has finally kicked his shooting woes. Sort of. While he's shot just 2-for-10 from 3-point range over the past five games, he broke out of his scoring slump against Wake Forest and Boston College, posting a combined 50 points on 20-for-27 shooting from the field. If he was even just an average defender, he'd be a bigger threat to Wiggins and Embiid.
Previous rank: No. 3 | PLAYER CARD
4Dante ExumCOUNTRY: AustraliaAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-6, 188POS: PG
18.0 PPG, 4.0 RPG at FIBA U-19s
Exum will soon be making his pilgrimage to L.A. to begin prepping for the draft with renowned trainer Tim Grover. Grover rose to fame training Michael Jordan and currently has both Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant as clients. If Exum is going to get stronger and learn the NBA game, it doesn't get much better than Grover.
Previous rank: No. 4 | PLAYER CARD
5Julius RandleSCHOOL: KentuckyAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-9, 225POS: PF
16.0 PPG9.8 RPG1.7 APG
Randle started the season as a double-double machine for Kentucky. But he hasn't had a double-double in five games. He's also been quite inconsistent on offense lately, scoring 18 points against Missouri and 16 against Mississippi State, but then going a combined 5-for-17 from the field against Ole Miss and LSU. While he's still clinging to the top five, both Noah Vonleh and Aaron Gordon are breathing down his neck right now.
Previous rank: No. 5 | PLAYER CARD
6Marcus SmartSCHOOL: Oklahoma StateAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-4, 225POS: PG
17.5 PPG5.7 RPG4.3 APG
Smart lost it against Texas Tech on Saturday and shoved a heckling fan. It was a bad decision made in the heat of a very competitive game, and the three-game suspension he received from the Big 12 was appropriate. No matter what the fan said, Smart's decision to push him was a huge mistake. Regardless, Smart has an impeccable reputation as a leader, a competitor and as a great person both on and off the court. Plus, teams have drafted players this high with far more baggage (DeMarcus Cousins, anyone?).
I spoke with dozens of NBA general managers and scouts about Smart, and not one of them thought the incident would ultimately hurt his draft stock. "Everyone will be talking about this for a few weeks, and then again when he declares for the draft," one GM said. "But by June, it will come down to: Is he the best player available? Looking at his whole career, the character question still comes out strongly in his favor."
What is hurting Smart's draft stock, however, is his on-court struggles. His jump shot and the struggles of his team in Big 12 play (point guards get extra points for leading on the court) are raising bigger question marks. If Smart rebounds, gets Oklahoma State into the tournament and starts playing well, he'll go very high in this draft. If he slides, it won't be because he lost his temper and pushed a fan. It will be because of his play on the court. But it's too early to drop him. Smart is a better person and player than he's shown the last few weeks. The NBA GMs who liked his game in the first place (as we've said many times, Smart is a polarizing player with some teams) are giving him the benefit of the doubt.

7Aaron GordonSCHOOL: ArizonaAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-8, 210POS: PF
11.8 PPG8.0 RPG1.6 APG
Gordon has more placed on his shoulders now that Brandon Ashley is out for the season. Against both Cal and Oregon, Gordon came up pretty short on the offensive end (eight points against Cal and six against Oregon on 2-for-11 free throw shooting!). However, his 17 points against Oregon State was a little more like what we've come to expect out of him. His 42 percent shooting mark from the free throw line and his 27 percent mark from 3-point range are the big things hurting Gordon right now. His defense, on the other hand, is among the best in the league.
Previous rank: No. 7 | PLAYER CARD
8Noah VonlehSCHOOL: IndianaAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-10, 240POS: PF
11.7 PPG9.5 RPG1.3 BPG
Vonleh isn't getting a lot of chances to score in Indiana's offense right now, but he's still a double-double machine. He's grabbed 12 or more rebounds in four of his last five games. While Randle and Gordon both had much more buzz coming out of high school, Vonleh continues to creep up on most NBA draft boards. If he can keep it going all season, there's a decent chance that Vonleh goes ahead of both of them on draft night.
Previous rank: No. 8 | PLAYER CARD
9Dario SaricCOUNTRY: CroatiaAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-10, 223POS: SF
15.8 PPG8.6 RPG2.5 APG
Saric is coming off one of his best games of the year -- a 22-point, 12-rebound, 3-assist game against the best team in the league (Partizan). With a number of NBA execs heading overseas in the next few weeks, Saric is going to have the chance to secure his place in the top 10 with a few more strong performances.
Previous rank: No. 9 | PLAYER CARD
10Tyler EnnisSCHOOL: SyracuseAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-2, 180POS: PG
11.8 PPG3.3 RPG5.7 APG
Ennis not only continues to sport a near 4-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio, but he has nearly 20 more steals than he has turnovers for the season. That's quite a feat. His jump shot has been a little shaky of late, which has caused a little consternation. But as long as his team keeps winning and Ennis keeps showing up in clutch situations, he's looking as though he'll be a lock for the lottery.
Previous rank: 10 | PLAYER CARD
11Gary HarrisSCHOOL: Michigan StateAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-4, 210POS: SG
17.6 PPG4.6 RPG2.7 APG
The Spartans have been beset by injuries and that has put a lot of weight on Harris' shoulders to deliver. He's had a few huge nights, such as the 27-point outburst against Michigan, but he continues to struggle at times with his jumper. He was just 3-for-20 from the field in a loss against Wisconsin on Sunday (including going 0-for-7 from 3). That's not helping him with the naysayer scouts who believe he's not equipped to carry a team.
Previous rank: No. 11 | PLAYER CARD
12Rodney HoodSCHOOL: DukeAGE: 21HT/WT: 6-8, 180POS: SG
16.5 PPG4.5 RPG2.1 APG
Hood's offensive production has slid a bit as Jabari Parker has started to take over again, but his 3-point shooting alone keeps him up this high in the draft. Given his size and athletic ability, if he can stay in the mid-40s from a 3-point shooting standpoint (he's at 45 percent right now), teams will draft him this high for his ability to knock down 3s.
Previous rank: No. 12 | PLAYER CARD
13Doug McDermottSCHOOL: CreightonAGE: 22HT/WT: 6-7, 210POS: SF
25.3 PPG7.1 RPG1.6 APG
McDermott may not be a sexy prospect, but he continues to plow through the Big East, lighting up everyone in his path. Over his last three games he's scored 39 points, 32 points and 25 points, respectively. NBA teams want him for his shooting, but his unique ability to score the basketball in multiple ways is also appealing.
Previous rank: No. 15 | PLAYER CARD
14James YoungSCHOOL: KentuckyAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-7, 200POS: SF
14.5 PPG4.2 RPG1.9 APG
Young impressed a bunch of NBA scouts at Missouri last Saturday with his 20-point performance. But in his last two games, his jump shot hasn't been falling (1-for-9 from 3), and for the season, he's shooting just 34 percent from deep. Those aren't horrific numbers, but they're not where they need to be for someone who makes his living as a shooter.
Previous rank: No. 18 | PLAYER CARD
15Jerami GrantSCHOOL: SyracuseAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-8, 203POS: SF
12.8 PPG7.0 RPG1.4 APG
Grant's career-high 24 points against Duke showed off what a terrific player he can be. He's not a great shooter, but if he was, he'd be 10 spots higher on the board.
Previous rank: No. 17 | PLAYER CARD
16Nik StauskasSCHOOL: MichiganAGE: 20HT/WT: 6-6, 205POS: G
17.0 PPG3.5 RPG3.7 APG
After a gaga performance against Michigan State, Stauskas has come back down to earth a little. He's scored just 25 total points in his last three games, including going just 3-for-11 from 3-point range in that span. We may have been premature in putting him so high in the rankings. Lots of scouts have cooled off a bit the past few weeks.
Previous rank: 14 | PLAYER CARD
17Zach LaVineSCHOOL: UCLAAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-5, 180POS: PG
11.1 PPG2.7 RPG2.1 APG
LaVine's shooting woes and overall play in the Pac-12 continues to decline, causing scouts to question how ready he's going to be for the NBA next season. They love the raw physical tools, but the production of late has been so off that he falls out of the lottery for the first time in a month.
Previous rank: 13 | PLAYER CARD
18Montrezl HarrellSCHOOL: LouisvilleAGE: 20HT/WT: 6-8, 235POS: PF
12.6 PPG8.2 RPG1.3 BPG
Harrell has picked up his scoring load since Chane Behanan left the team, but his rebounding numbers have slid a bit in the past two weeks. While he's not considered an elite prospect by most teams, Harrell's athleticism, energy and toughness could make him a long-time fixture in the NBA.
Previous rank: No. 16 | PLAYER CARD
19Willie Cauley-SteinSCHOOL: KentuckyAGE: 20HT/WT: 7-0, 220POS: C
7.9 PPG6.4 RPG3.1 BPG
After virtually disappearing for a month, Cauley-Stein has played two straight terrific games against Ole Miss and Mississippi State. His 18 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks against Ole Miss may have been the best game of his career. The raw tools are all there to be a very good NBA player, it's just consistency that he lacks right now.
Previous rank No. 19 | PLAYER CARD
20Clint CapelaCOUNTRY: SwitzerlandAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-10, 215POS: PF
7.7 PPG5.7 RPG2.1 BPG
Capela is a hot name among international scouts at the moment. Considered more of a project coming into the year, he's started to put up some big games for Chalon in the French League. He's got elite size, length and athleticism, and is coming off perhaps his best game of the year, a 21-point, 9-rebound, 7-assist, 6-block performance against Roane. We will be watching him closely as more and more NBA scouts make their way to Europe. Based on raw talent, he could be a lottery pick by the end of the season.

21Chris WalkerSCHOOL: FloridaAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-9, 195POS: SF
4.0 PPG1.5 RPG5.5 MPG
Walker finally got to take the court this week versus Missouri. While he played just seven minutes, he immediately showed off his terrific athleticism around the rim. He's not playing a big role on this team, but he doesn't have to. His size and athleticism are so tantalizing that someone will take him in the first round if he declares.

22P.J. HairstonTEAM: Texas Legends (NBADL)AGE: 21HT/WT: 6-5, 220POS: SG
26.3 PPG4.5 RPG2.3 SPG
The D-League has been very good to Hairston. In his first 10 games, he's averaging 26.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 39 percent from 3-point range. While scouts prefer he was doing that in the NCAA, his strong performance here should land him somewhere in the second half of the first round as long as his interviews go well.
Previous rank: No. NR | PLAYER CARD
23Mario HezonjaCOUNTRY: CroatiaAGE: 18HT/WT: 6-7, 200POS: SF
3.2 PPG1.9 RPG8.5 MPG
Hezonja continues to be one of those prospects whom you have to scout more in practice than in the game. He's averaging just 8.5 minutes per game. But the scouts who know him the best feel he'll be a steal this low in the draft.
Previous rank: No. 20 | PLAYER CARD
24Adreian PayneSCHOOL: Michigan StateAGE: 22HT/WT: 6-10, 225POS: F/C
16.4 PPG7.2 RPG1.4 APG
Payne missed seven games for Michigan State with a foot injury but is finally back on the court and put up an impressive 24-point performance against Wisconsin in a loss Sunday (he was 2-for-3 from 3-point range). He continues to cement his status as one of the best stretch 4 options in the draft.
Previous rank: 22 | PLAYER CARD
25Kyle AndersonSCHOOL: UCLAAGE: 20HT/WT: 6-9, 235POS: PF
15.1 PPG8.7 RPG6.7 APG
Anderson continues to show a marked improvement in virtually every area of his game as a sophomore. He's a potential triple-double threat every night and had a terrific 15-point, 10-rebound and 8-assist performance against USC on Saturday. The turnovers are an issue, but it's his complete lack of defense that keeps him from moving higher up the board.
Previous rank: 21 | PLAYER CARD
26Sam DekkerSCHOOL: WisconsinAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-8, 215POS: SF
13.5 PPG6.0 RPG1.4 APG
Dekker's jump shot is finally back on the upswing, which is really good news for both his draft stock and Wisconsin's prospects this season. Dekker is 7-for-13 from 3 in his last two games, which were both big wins for Wisconsin. While Dekker is a very versatile player, his draft stock will ultimately hinge on whether teams think he can knock down shots from the perimeter.
Previous rank: No. 23 | PLAYER CARD
27Wayne Selden Jr.SCHOOL: KansasAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-5, 230POS: SG
10.5 PPG2.6 RPG2.6 APG
Selden continues to show up when Kansas needs him and continues to disappear when others are stepping up. He had 17 points and was 3-for-5 from 3 in a win against West Virginia on Saturday. When Selden is knocking down 3s, he's a very dangerous weapon and intriguing draft prospect. He has the body and the athletic ability to thrive in the NBA. If that jump shot is falling, watch out.
Previous rank: No. 24 | PLAYER CARD
28Rondae Hollis-JeffersonSCHOOL: ArizonaAGE: 19HT/WT: 6-7, 215POS: SF
8.5 PPG5.6 RPG1.7 APG
With Brandon Ashley out for the year, Hollis-Jefferson's minutes have increased, and he's responded with a number of terrific games for the Wildcats. This week, he had 14 points and 10 boards against Oregon followed by 16 points and five rebounds against Oregon State. He's an elite athlete, a tough, athletic defender and plays with a great motor. He's not a great shooter (he's just 1-for-6 from 3 all season), but scouts love the toughness and versatility he brings to the table.

29C.J. WilcoxSCHOOL: WashingtonAGE: 23HT/WT: 6-5, 180POS: SG
19.3 PPG4.0 RPG2.5 APG
Wilcox remains one of the elite shooters in college basketball and has the athletic ability to stay on the court for more than just isolated sequences. His age is the only thing keeping him from going much higher.

30Bogdan BogdanovicCOUNTRY: SerbiaAGE: 21HT/WT: 6-6, 200POS: SG
15.5 PPG3.9 RPG3.7 APG
Bogdanovic has been on fire this season. He plays for Partizan in Serbia and in his last game he dropped 32 points on Cibona. He's a fearless scorer who can knock down shots from anywhere on the floor. Plus, his ballhandling and court vision suggest he might be able to play some point in the NBA. With so many teams possessing multiple picks in this draft, a few international guys such as him are going to sneak into the first round.
