나의 기뻐하는 금식은 흉악의 결박을 풀어주며 멍에의 줄을 끌러주며

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice

압제 당하는 자를 자유케 하며 모든 멍에를 꺾는 것이 아니겠느냐

and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and

break every yoke?

주린 자에게 네 식물을 나눠 주며 유리하는 빈민을 네 집에 들이며

Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter

벗은 자를 보면 입히며 또 네 골육을 피하여 스스로 숨지 아니하는 것이 아니겠느냐

when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away

from your own flesh and blood?

그리하면 네 빛이 아침 같이 비췰 것이며 네 치료가 급속할 것이며

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear;

네 의가 네 앞에 행하고 여호와의 영광이 네 뒤에 호위하리니

then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of

the LORD will be your rear guard.

네가 부를 때에는 나 여호와가 응답하겠고

Then you will call, and the LORD will answer

네가 부르짖을 때에는 말하기를 내가 여기 있다 하리라

you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

만일 네가 너희 중에서 멍에와 손가락질과 허망한 말을 제하여 버리고

"If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk,

주린 자에게 네 심정을 동하며 괴로와하는 자의 마음을 만족케 하면

and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy

the needs of the oppressed,

네 빛이 흑암 중에서 발하여 네 어두움이 낮과 같이 될 것이며

then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.

나 여호와가 너를 항상 인도하여 마른 곳에서도 네 영혼을

만족케하며 네 뼈를 견고케 하리니 너는 물댄 동산

같겠고 물이 끊어지지 아니하는 샘 같을 것이라.

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

산상수훈 The Sermon on the Mount 11. 아름다운 열매 Good Fruits

거짓 선지자들을 삼가라 양의 옷을 입고 너희에게 나아오나 속에는 노략질하는 이리라 그의 열매로 그들을 알찌니 가시나무에서 포도를, 또는 엉겅퀴에서 무화과를 따겠느냐 이와 같이 좋은 나무마다 아름다운 열매를 맺고 못된 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺나니 좋은 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺을 수 없고 못된 나무가 아름다운 열매를 맺을 수 없느니라 아름다운 열매를 맺지 아니하는 나무마다 찍혀 불에 던지우느니라 이러므로 그의 열매로 그들을 알리라 마태복음 7:15-20

"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. "You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? "So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. "A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. "So then, you will know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:15-20

오늘의 말씀은 거짓 선지자를 분별하고 경계하라는 것처럼 들리지만 실상은 아름다운 열매, 좋은 열매를 맺는 것을 알려주신 것입니다. 그리고 오직 좋은 나무가 좋은 열매를 맺는다고 하십니다. 사람들은 이미 목회자들을 평가하고 있습니다. 그들이 돈을 섬기는지, 자신의 자식들만 살찌우는지, 등등의 기준으로 목회자를 평가하여 교회를 떠나기도 하고 새로 다닐 교회를 정하기도 합니다. 물론 이러한 것들이 그들의 열매라고 할 수 있을 것입니다.

그런데 오늘 말씀에 예시로 말씀하신 가시와 엉겅퀴는 공통점이 있습니다. 그것은 찌른다는 것입니다. 그리고 그들의 입의 말이 씨가 되어 사람들에게 영향을 주고 있음을 생각해 본다면 교인들의 삶과 인격을 살펴보기도 해야 할 것입니다. 만일 오래 말씀을 들었는데 나의 신앙이 자신과 다른 사람을 찌르고 정죄하는 것에 머물고 있다면 이도 목회자를 판단하는 기준이 될 것입니다.

좋은 열매는 먹고 기력을 회복하기도 하고 또 그 안의 씨로 새로이 농사를 지을 수도 있습니다. 만일 내가 좋은 나무를 만났다면 나의 상처 받은 인격이 치료되고 회복되며 그 받은 말씀으로 이웃에게 전할 수도 있게 할 것입니다. 그런데 이러한 생각을 하게 되면 좋은 열매를 맺는 대상이 비단 목회자만이 아니라 나 자신도 여기에 포함되는 것을 발견하게 됩니다. 그러니 오늘의 이 말씀은 결코 단순하지 않습니다.

어떤 이들은 좋은 열매를 맺는 방법은 좋은 나무에 접붙임을 받는 것이라고 합니다. 그러나 종종 나무의 열매는 한 인생의 마지막 부분에 가서야 그 좋고 좋지 않음이 판명되는 경우도 있습니다. 그러면 거기에 붙어 한 일생을 다 보낸 후에 만일 잘못 된 줄로 알았다면 이도 낭패가 아닐 수 없습니다. 그러니 보다 더 근본적 방법을 발견하지 않으면 안 될 것입니다. 모든 나무는 근본 씨에서 시작합니다.

엄밀하게 보자면 오늘 주님의 말씀은 좋은 나무가 되라는 것이 아닙니다. 좋은 나무에서라야 좋은 열매가 맺힌다고 말씀하셨을 뿐입니다. 나쁜 열매를 맺는 거짓 선지자를 만났을 때 이를 분별하고 삼갈 뿐이지 그를 변화시킬 것은 아닙니다. 마찬가지로 만일 내게 나쁜 열매가 맺는다면 이는 내 자신이 나쁜 나무라는 사실을 알게 해 줄 뿐, 내가 좋은 나무가 되라고 하는 말씀은 아닌 것입니다.

그러므로 오늘의 말씀은 나무나 열매를 바꾸는 내용의 말씀이 아닙니다. 그러면 어쩌면 좋습니까? 우리가 지금 그리스도와의 연합 된 사실을 듣고 아는 것은 우리 자신을 바로 알게 하는 것입니다. 이는 우리의 어떤 행위나 성품을 바꾸려는 데 그 목적이 있지 않습니다. 오직 우리의 근본이 우리가 살아온 삶에만 근거하지 아니하고 하나님 안에 감추어진 나의 생명이 그리스도와 더불어 나의 나 됨을 증거 한다는 사실을 알아가는 것입니다.

그러므로 우리가 좋은 열매를 맺는 것은 나쁜 행실을 좋은 행실로 바꾸는 것이나 나쁜 성품을 좋은 성품으로 바꾸는 것으로 되지 않습니다. 물론 좋은 나무에 접붙이는 것으로도 되지 않습니다. 오직 우리의 근본이 땅의 진토만이 아니라 하나님의 형상에 있음을 알고 발견하는 것에서 말미암습니다. 물론 이 모든 것은 그리스도께서 우리 그대로의 모습에 오셔서 연합하심으로 이루어지는 일들입니다.

Today's remarks sound like a warning to discern false prophets, but they taught us to produce beautiful and good fruits. And it is said that only good trees produce good fruit. People are already eval‎uating pastors. They sometimes leave the church or choose a new one based on whether they serve money or fatten their children. Of course, these are their fruits.

However, the thistle that the Lord mentioned as an example has something in common today. It means stabbing. If you consider that the words of their mouths are becoming seeds and affecting people, you should also examine the lives and personalities of the church members. This will also serve as a criterion for judging pastors if I have been told for a long time and my faith remains in stabbing and condemning others.

Good fruits can be eaten, rejuvenated, and the seeds in them can also be used to farm anew. If I encounter a good tree, I will be able to heal and restore my wounded personality and convey it to my neighbors with the words I received. However, when I think about this, I find that not only pastors but also myself are included in this category. So, today's statement is by no means simple.

According to some, the best way to produce good fruit is to graft on good trees. However, the fruit of a tree is often proven to be good or bad at the end of a lifetime. Then, if you stick to it and think it's wrong after you've spent your whole life, you're doomed. So we must find a more fundamental way. All trees begin with the root seed.

Strictly speaking, today's word from the Lord is not to be a good tree. He just said that good fruit can only be produced from a good tree. When I encounter a false visionary with bad fruit, I only discern and try to avoid it, not to change him. Likewise, if I bear bad fruit, it only allows me to know that I am a bad tree, and I am not telling you to be a good tree.

So today's words are not about changing trees or fruits, so what should we do? What we hear and know about our union with Christ now is to make ourselves aware right away. This does not aim to change any of our actions or character. It is to know that our fundamentals are not based solely on the lives we have lived, but that my life hidden in God proves that I am myself, along with Christ.

Therefore, when we produce good fruits, we don't change bad behavior into good behavior or bad character into good character. Of course, it doesn't work as a graft to a good tree. It is only because we know and discover that our fundamentals are not in the earth's true land but in the image of God. Of course, all of these things are done by Christ coming into our very own form and uniting.
