(서울=연합뉴스) 황윤기 기자 = 이재명 대통령은 영국 찰스 3세 국왕의 동생 앤 공주 부부를 14일 오후 청와대에서 접견한다.

청와대는 13일 "한-영 간의 우호 협력 증진 방안에 대해 논의할 예정"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.

아울러 "글로벌 전략 동반자인 한-영 간 고위급 교류, 교역 및 투자, 과학기술, 문화 등 다양한 분야에서 양국 간 협력 강화 방안과 주요 지역 정세에 대한 논의가 이뤄질 것"이라고 설명했다.

앤 공주의 방한은 지난 2018년 평창 동계올림픽 당시 국제올림픽위원회(IOC) 위원 자격으로 방문한 이후 8년 만이다. 그는 15일까지 2박 3일 일정으로 머무르며 임진강 전투 75주년을 기념하는 등의 일정을 소화한다.

SEOUL, July 13 (Yonhap) -- President Lee Jae Myung will meet Britain's Princess Anne this week in Seoul to discuss ways to promote cooperation between the two countries, the presidential office said Monday.

The British princess, the only daughter of late Queen Elizabeth II and sister of King Charles III, is visiting South Korea on a three-day trip starting Monday to promote collaboration between South Korea and Britain.
​
Lee will meet Anne at Cheong Wa Dae on Tuesday and discuss ways to promote friendly cooperation between South Korea and Britain, Lee's office said.
​
Their discussions will cover high-level exchanges between South Korea and Britain as "global strategic partners," security situations in major regions and ways to strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, science and technology, and culture, the presidential office said.
