(로버타와 라저가 카페에서 점심을 먹으며…)

Roberta: I really like this cafe.

라저: 여기 차 타고 많이 지나가긴 했는데 먹어본 적은 한 번도 없어.

Roberta: Oh the food is great.

Roger: (Looking at the menu) So what's good here?
라저: (차림표를 보며) 그래 여기는 뭐가 맛있어?

Roberta: Just about everything. The meat and seafood dishes are excellent.
로버타: 거의 다 맛있어. 고기하고 생선 요리가 최고야.

Roger: What do you usually order?
라저: 넌 보통 뭐 시키는데?

Roberta: I love the seafood pasta!
로버타: 난 생선 파스타 좋아해!

Roger: Mmmm. That's sounds delicious. I love seafood so I think I'll get that.
라저: 음. 그거 맛있겠다. 나도 생선 좋아하니까 그걸로 먹어야겠다.

Roberta: Okay then I'll order the New York steak. We can try each other's dishes.
로버타: 그래. 그럼 나는 뉴욕 스테이크 시킬게. 나눠 먹으면 되겠다.

Roger: Sounds like a plan.
라저: 좋은 생각이야.


[기억할만한 표현]
▶ What's good here?: 여기는 뭐가 맛있어?

▶ just about: 거의. 대부분.
“I’m just about finished with the computer. I just need five more minutes.” 
(컴퓨터 거의 다 썼어. 5분만 더 쓰면 돼.)

▶ try each other’s dishes: 서로의 음식을 맛보다.
“Let’s not order the same thing so we can try each other’s dishes.” 
(같은 거 말고 다른 요리를 시켜서 맛보자.)
