In today's passage, Jesus prayed, and when He came back, He found His disciples sleeping again. So, He woke them up once more. This shows that prayer is about staying awake and persistent until the end. There are prayers that shouldn't be slept through. We should pray until the measure of prayer is filled.
Though the disciples had their reasons for being sleepy, Jesus awakened them. In this final hour, considering our circumstances, it implies that even when we feel we have no time or strength, we should still pray.
Furthermore, Jesus invites us to rise and go with Him. Let's now rise and go with Jesus. Let's pray, receive the Holy Spirit, and go with Jesus.
