The Avatamsaka Sutra, The Merit of The Initial Determination~(초발심공덕품6-6)

6-6.     一切劫      入非劫      非劫      入一切劫      欲於一念中      盡知前際後際      及現在一切世界成壞劫故      發阿耨多羅三藐三菩提心      是名初發心大誓莊嚴      了知一切劫神通智      일체 겁이 겁 아닌데 들어가고 겁 아닌 것이 일체 겁에 들어가는 것을 알기 위함이니라. 또 잠깐 동안에 앞세상 뒷세상과 지금 세상의 일체 세계가 이루어지고 무너지는 겁을 모두 알고자 하여 아뇩다라삼먁삼보리심을 내는 것이니, 이것을 이름하여 ‘처음 발심하고 큰 서원 장엄으로 일체의 겁을 분명히 아는 신통한 지혜’라고 하느니라. all eons enter the noneon; the noneon enters all eons. They want to know instantly the eons of becoming and decay of all worlds of the entire past, present, and future—that is why they set their minds on unexcelled complete perfect enlightenment. This is called the initial determination’s adornment of great vows, the spiritual knowledge of all eons.  all eons enter the noneon; 일체 겁이 겁 아닌데 들어가고the noneon enters all eons; 겁 아닌 것이 일체 겁에 들어가는 것They want to know; 또 모두 알고자 하여 instantly; 잠깐 동안에the eons of becoming and decay of; 이루어지고 무너지는 겁을 all worlds of the entire past, present, and future; 앞세상 뒷세상과 지금 세상의 일체 세계가 that is why; 하여 they set their minds on; 심을 내는 것이니unexcelled complete perfect enlightenment; 아뇩다라삼먁삼보리This is called; 이것을 이름하여 ~ 라고 하느니라the initial determination’s; 처음 발심하고 adornment of great vows; 큰 서원 장엄으로 the spiritual knowledge of all eons; 일체의 겁을 분명히 아는 신통한 지혜
