Matthew 16:21~28

21 From that time on, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and undergo great suffering at the hands of the elders and chief priests and scribes and be killed and on the third day be raised.


22 And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This must never happen to you.”


23 But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me, for you are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things.”


24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If any wish to come after me, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

25 For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.


26 For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?


27 “For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.


28 Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

21 그때부터 예수님은 제자들에게 자신이 예루살렘으로 가서 장로들과 대제사장들과 서기관들에게 큰 고난을 당하고 죽임을 당한 뒤, 사흘 만에 다시 살아나야 한다는 것을 보여 주기 시작하셨다.


22 베드로가 그를 따로 데리고 가서 꾸짖기 시작하며 말하였다. "주님, 그런 일이 있을 수 없습니다! 이런 일은 절대 너에게 일어나면 안 돼


22 그러나 그가 돌아서서 베드로에게 말하였다. "사탄아, 내 뒤로 물러가라! 당신은 나에게 방해가 됩니다. 당신은 신적인 것보다 인간적인 것에 마음을 두고 있기 때문입니다."


24 그때 예수님께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. "누구든지 나를 따라오고자 하는 자는 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따르라.

25 생명을 구하려는 자는 잃게 되고, 나를 위해 생명을 잃는 자는 그것을 찾게 될 것이다.


26 온 세상을 얻어도 자기 목숨을 잃으면 무슨 유익이 있겠습니까? 아니면 그들이 자신의 생명을 대가로 무엇을 줄까요?


27 "인자가 아버지의 영광 가운데 그의 천사들과 함께 오실 것이며, 그 후에 그가 행하신 모든 일에 대해 모든 사람에게 갚으실 것이다.


28 진실로 너희에게 이르노니, 여기 서 있는 사람들 중에는 인자가 그의 나라에 오는 것을 보기 전에 죽음을 맛보지 않을 자들이 있다."Matthew
