권창영 2차 종합특검팀이 심우정 전 검찰총장에 대해 내란 가담 혐의로 구속영장을 청구했다.

종합특검은 13일 언론 공지를 통해 "심 전 총장과 전무곤 전 대검 기획조정부장(검사장)에 대해 내란중요임무종사, 직권남용권리행사방해 혐의로 구속영장을 청구했다"고 밝혔다.

심 전 총장은 윤석열 전 대통령이 비상계엄을 선포한 2024년 12월 3일 박성재 전 법무부 장관 지시에 따라 계엄사 합동수사본부에 검사 파견을 검토한 혐의를 받는다. 특검은 박 전 장관이 비상계엄 선포 당시 심 전 총장과 3차례 통화한 점에 주목하고 있다.

The second team of the comprehensive special counsel led by Kwon Chang-young sought an arrest warrant for former Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung on charges of participating in insurrection.
