대법원 2부(주심 엄상필 대법관)는 이날 오전 10시 15분 권 의원의 정치자금법 위반 사건 상고심 선고기일을 열고 권 의원에 대해 징역 2년에 추징금 1억원을 선고한 원심 판결을 확정했다. 작년 10월 민중기 특별검사팀이 권 의원을 구속 기소한 지 9개월 만에 최종 결론이 나온 것이다.
