- 영한 : (구어체)~에게 전화하다.

- 영영 : to make a call to

- 동일 : ⓐ기본 give somebody a call(ring), ⓑ구어체 give somebody a shout(holler), ⓒ최신 젊은 트랜드 hit me up

※ⓒ Hit me up if you want to hang out.

- 예문 : 

I’ll give you a buzz on Monday, OK? 
월요일에 전화할게, 응?

Burt: Yeah I think they are.
버트: 응. 그런 것 같아.

Charlene: Any chance of you getting the job?
샬린: 취직이 될 가능성은 좀 있어?

Burt: I believe I have a good chance.
버트: 가능성이 높다고 봐.

Charlene: Well good luck.
샬린: 그럼 잘 되길 빌어.

Burt: Thanks. I'll give you a buzz when they tell me.
버트: 고마워. 회사에서 연락 오면 너한테 전화할게.


[기억할만한 표현]
▶ make up (one’s) mind: 결심하다.
“She made up her mind very quickly.”
(그녀는 결심을 아주 빨리 해.)

▶ in a hurry: 급히.
“I need to mail this letter in a hurry.”
(이 편지 급하게 부쳐야 해.)

▶ any chance of…?: 혹시 ~할 가능성이 좀 있나요?, ~해주실 수 있나요?
"Is there any chance of getting tickets for tonight?"
