鬼焰(귀염)은 술에 취해서 남의 집에 불을 지르는 것이다.

   Gwiyeom(鬼焰,귀염 - Ghost Fire) means setting fire to another person′s house while intoxicated.

불이 발생하는 것은 사물에 있어서 자연스러운 이치이며 술에 취하여 혼미해지는 것은 인간에 있어서 자연스러운 이치이다.

  The occurrence of fire is a natural law of physical things,

   and becoming maddled by intoxication is a natural law of human beings.

자연스러운 물건에 불을 놓아 자연스러운 인간에게 해를 끼친다면 큰 불이 거꾸로 뒤쫓아 따라와 깨닫게 하리라.

 However, if one sets fire to a natural object and thereby causes harm to a natural human being,

  a great fire will conversely chase them down from behind and force them into a harsh realization.

鬼焰者는 放火於醉人之家也라 (귀염자는 방화어취인지사야라)
  Gwiyeom(鬼焰,귀염 - Ghost Fire) means setting fire to the house of an intoxicated person.

火之發은 物之自然之理也요 (화지발은 물지자연지리야요)

  The eruption od fire is a natural law of physical matter,

醉之昏은 人之自然之理也라 (취지혼은 인지자연지리야라)

  and becoming muddled by drunkenness is a natural law of human beings.

從自然之物하여 害自然之人이면 (종자연지물하여 해자연지인이면)

  Therefore, if one uses a natural element to inflict harm upon a natural human being,

大火反及於醒이니라. (대화반급어성이니라.)

  a great fire will conversely turn back and strike the one who is sober.
