Hello, my name is Shin Ji-yoon, and I am a first-year high school student. I live in Naju, Jeollanam-do, and I attend Naju High School. Although I haven’t been in high school for long, I am learning a lot in this new environment. I really enjoy studying Korean history. I find the historical events and cultural backgrounds it covers very interesting. I especially enjoy learning about the Joseon Dynasty and modern history, and I like understanding the lives and thoughts of people from those times. I believe that Korean history helps us understand how the past has influenced our present lives. One reason I love Korean history is because of the architecture. Traditional Korean buildings are fascinating, as they give us a glimpse into the lives and mindset of people from those periods. For example, learning about the structure and beauty of hanok helps me understand how people lived back then. This has sparked my interest in architecture, and my dream is to become an architect. Architecture is not just about constructing buildings; it is about creating comfortable and beautiful spaces for people. I want to combine traditional Korean architecture with modern design to create spaces where people can live comfortably. My dream is to design buildings that allow people to experience history and culture. I love eating tteokbokki and mala hotpot. I really enjoy the sweet and spicy taste of tteokbokki, and the numbing, spicy flavor of mala hotpot is very appealing to me. Sharing these foods with my friends brings me a lot of happiness. These two dishes are ones I never get tired of eating. I also really like the singer WOODZ. His songs are emotional and powerful, and I listen to them often. His music makes me feel calm, and I can relate to the emotions he expresses. His songs give me a lot of inspiration. I enjoy spending time with my friends. Talking to new people is always fun, and exchanging different ideas is very interesting. I also like to travel and learn about the culture and architecture of other countries. Traveling allows me to see various buildings and understand the history and culture of different places, which gives me a lot of inspiration. In the future, I will continue working hard to study architecture and achieve my dream. I want to become an architect who creates comfortable and beautiful spaces for people. I aim to design buildings that combine historical elements with modern styles, helping people feel the meaning of life through the spaces they inhabit.
