I have a 13 years-old daughter.
She is attending in GLPS English camp which is held by 민족사관학교.
Its period is four weeks. Attenders should say English all day. They have many English special lectures and learn various korean music instruments during the term. And they learn ski and Taekwondo, etc.
She went there last Sunday. So today is the 6th day.
I received a first call from her last night.
How she was unconscious! I have visited its internet site everyday. Fortunately, its manager has posted a lot of photos everyday, I feel relieved by it.
The day before yesterday, I sent a message to her phone,"when do you have a free time to call?"
She called me at once," I will call you after 15 minutes." and hung up, but she didn't call again.
I thought it was natural. Her attitude showed that she was adapted to there very well and enjoyed.
However, as you know, Mother is different! hehe!
Anyway, while talking over the phone, she was energetic, even though she couldn't sleep over 5 hours everyday because of homework.
I hope she has a lot of good experience and has a chance to widen her mental vision.
첫댓글Hey Julia, your daughter must be having fun. If I may, I'd like to make a suggestion. In English here, 정신이없다 should not be expressed as 'unconscious'. You could say, "She was preoccupied while she was talking to me"', or " Her mind was elsewhere while she was talking to me."

Please keep your stories coming. I'm enjoying them very much.
