<p>The voice of one crying in the wilderness – John the Baptist is the one crying in the wilderness. He is making ready the way of the Lord and making His path straight.</p><p> </p><p>Let’s apply this to us – how should we make ready the way of the Jesus’ return?  As the cry in the wilderness, we proclaim His return to the people by spreading the gospel.</p><p> </p><p>Also, the apostle John later confessed that he participated in the kingdom of Jesus and tribulation by proclaiming the word of God and bearing witness to Jesus. The work of God is to communicate God's word to people.
