The Bible and Life 001 Everybody deserves DECENT LIFE based on God the Creator's Intention

The Bible is the One greatest book in which I found the most important teachings of things and life.

I happen to find it reading and studying the Bible.

So, this is my own effort to share, with myself and others, what I have found in the Bible, admitting every effort might be very small portion of the whole.

001. Everybody deserves DECENT LIFE based on God the Creator's intention.

Genesis 1:

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." (all quotes from NIV)

Human Being is very unique, made in the image and likeness of God Himseves.

It bestows mankind favored status over any other creatures so the privilege and responsibility to live harmoniously with God, fellow human being, and even nature.

He also provided sustainable resources for mankind to live a decent life with His abundant/enough provisions.

29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. (All Quotes from NIV)

Of course, mankind brought all those bad things into the perfect creation of God with his/her own voluntary action of disobedience eating the Forbidden Fruit for his/her own physical lust, mental satisfaction, and spiritual pride.

It is our duty, however, to do our best to bring the God's original blessings to our daily life as a new born creature through our faith in the Savior Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, we learn and share the teachings of "how to live," with the perspective of Social Justice, in the various but consistent teachings of the Bible.

It is our duty to bring God's will and Kingdom to this earth in this current age not only in our prayer but also in our action.

Actually the teachings of the Bible are very clear and obvious;

"In God, We;

Live Together,

Believe Together,

Serve Together,

To Be Blessed,

To Be Blessings,

For His Glory.

But the world, the big part of it, and even the big part of self-claiming Christians are way far from this simple teachings of the Bible.

So we repeat, wanting to be a wake-up call, and appeal even to fellow believers to follow the true teachings of how we would live/love with others.

성경과 삶 001 모든 사람은 창조주로부터 부여된 괜찮은 삶을 살 권리가 있다.

성경은 나에게 사물과 생명에 관하여 가장 중요한 교훈을 가르쳐주는 가장 위대한 책이다.

나는 이것을 성경을 읽고 공부하며 알게 되었다.

그러므로 이 글은 내가 성경에서 얻은 것들을, 전체에 비해 너무나도 작은 부분이겠지만, 나 자신에게 확증하며 이웃들과 나누고자 한다.

창세기 1장

26 하나님이 가라사대 우리의 형상을 따라 우리의 모양대로 우리가 사람을 만들고 그로 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 육축과 온 땅과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다스리게 하자 하시고

27 하나님이 자기 형상 곧 하나님의 형상대로 사람을 창조하시되 남자와 여자를 창조하시고

28 하나님이 그들에게 복을 주시며 그들에게 이르시되 생육하고 번성하여 땅에 충만하라, 땅을 정복하라, 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 땅에 움직이는 모든 생물을 다스리라 하시니라

인간은 하나님의 모양과 형상대로 지음 받은 아주 특별한 존재다.

이것은 인류가 다른 어떤 피조물에서는 찾을 수 없는 특별한, 즉 창조주 하나님과 동료 인류들, 그리고 자연과도 조화롭게 살아야 하는 특권과 책임을 가지고 있음을 의미한다.

하나님은 또한 인류에게 풍부하고도 충분한 자원을 지속적으로 공급하신다.

29 하나님이 가라사대 내가 온 지면의 씨 맺는 모든 채소와 씨 가진 열매 맺는 모든 나무를 너희에게 주노니 너희 식물이 되리라

물론 인류는 자신의 신체적 욕망과 정신적 만족, 그리고 영적 교만을 충족시키기 위하여 자발적으로 선악과를 따먹는 죄를 지음으로써 하나님의 완벽하신 창조물에 온갖 나쁜 것들을 불러들였다.

그러나 구주 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 새롭게 태어난 우리들은 하나님이 원래 의도하신 축복들을 우리의 일상 속에서 이룰 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 기울여야 한다.

그러므로 우리는 정의사회 구현이라는 견지에서 성경이 다양하고도 일관적으로 우리에게 말씀해주시는 교훈에 따라 어떻게 살아야 할 것인지를 배우고 나눠야 한다.

우리의 기도에서뿐만이 아니라 삶의 행위 가운데 하나님의 뜻과 나라가 이 땅에 이뤄질 수 있도록 노력해야 하는 것이다.

사실 성경의 교훈은 간단명료하다.

우리는 하나님 안에서;

더불어 살며,

더불어 믿으며,

더불어 섬김으로써,

우리가 복을 받고,

이웃에게 복이 되고,

하나님께 영광 되도록 하는 것이다.

그러나 이 세상, 그중 많은 곳, 혹은 기독인이라 자칭하는 사람들 중에서도 많은 부분이 이 단순한 성경의 가르침에서 거리가 먼 생활을 살고 있다.

그럼으로 우리는 반복하여 경종 삼아 같은 신앙인들에게 참된 가르침을 따라 사랑하며 살자고 호소하는 것이다.
