Title : Section 11. Ipsin(入身,입신) : Erecting the Body Upright (Article 14)
[Korean Interpretation Summary]
● 'Ip'(立,립 - Erecting / Standing) means righteousness,
and 'Sin(身,신 - Body) means the physical self.
● Only when thee mind is free from shame can one erect their body
upright and stand firmly in the world.
● If the mind is not upright, there will be secrets to hide.
In acting basely, anxiety and distress will alternate, causing oppression in the Chest.
As a result, one′s "Jeong'(精,정 - Essence / Vital Energy) scatters,
and 'Gi'(氣,기 - Energy / Life Force) weakens.
● Therefore, a Wise Person(哲人,철인) erects their body upright in the world without shifting,
whereas the Ordinary people(衆人,중인) live by bending and crouching
their bodies to the world.
