<p>Requirements for victory in ground battle (Romans 8:35-37)</p><p> </p><p>Some people talk about the church in Ephesus that lost their first love,</p><p>urging them to recover their first love, and even creating wailing and repentance.</p><p>You will feel relieved and full, and for a moment you will jump for joy with happiness.</p><p>But when we first believed in Jesus and received forgiveness of my sins, I sang a song saying,</p><p>‘I love Jesus,’ and fell into an ecstasy that made me feel like I was jumping for joy and giving everything.</p><p>Is it really my first love that truly loved God?</p><p>For example, when a couple first meets and gets married, their hearts are pounding,</p><p>but if they miss that time even after they get older, it is not a normal marital relationship.</p><p>If it started with love, it is normal to reach a more amicable love now.</p><p>The Lord says, if you do not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.</p><p>It means the lake of fire. So, when asked who you are, he says,</p><p>“I said to you from the beginning” (John 8:24-25). </p><p>He immediately revealed that it was he.</p><p>In the beginning was the Word, that he is the Word.</p><p>First love is loving the Lord, the Word, but can a Jew who believes in God and try to do His Word love him?</p><p>When the Spirit of truth came and makes us know the new covenant,</p><p>believing in it and keeping the commandments that make us one in Christ is to love the Lord Jesus Christ.</p><p>(John 14:15, 21)</p><p>So God calls us into Christ and we come to love God.</p><p> </p><p>Q. What can separate us from the love of Christ?</p><p> </p><p>“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress,</p><p>or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?” (Romans 8:35)</p><p> </p><p>A. No one can separate us from the love of Christ.</p><p>In verse 33, God appears when someone accuses us.</p><p>In verse 34, when someone condemns us, Christ appears.</p><p>In fact, only God can make an accusation. Because the lawgiver is God.</p><p>But God has justified us, so who is going to accuse us?</p><p>And there is a Lord who died for our sins and rose again, who saved us from death in Adam</p><p>and brought us into the kingdom of God's love in Christ,</p><p>and who now sits at the right hand of God, ruling over all things and interceding for us.</p><p>Who can condemn us?</p><p>And in verse 35, when someone tries to cut us off, the love of Christ appears.</p><p>No one can touch us.</p><p>If someone wants to confront you, God's love appears, and if someone tries to attack you,</p><p>God appears again. So no one can touch us.</p><p>Trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger,</p><p>and sword are all the difficult problems on earth.</p><p>These are things that attack the love of Christ we believe in.</p><p>But the love of Christ is much greater than these things.</p><p>However, livelihood type believers or ministers will inevitably collapse. </p><p>Kahlil Gibran once said that while people put gold and silver jewelry on the conversation table,</p><p>he only puts his soul on the conversation table, so he cannot talk to them.</p><p>No matter how much he pretends to show off, if you listen to the words of livelihood type believers or ministers ,</p><p>you can't help but wonder if they will actually win the battle on earth with the love of Christ.</p><p> </p><p>Q. What is our life like on earth?</p><p> </p><p>“As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long</p><p>; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” (Romans 8:36)</p><p> </p><p>A. Although we are God's children who are qualified to approach</p><p>the throne of God's grace by being led by His love in Christ, do not forget that we are last in the world.</p><p>It may be like the dregs of all things, or it may become a spectacle for people to see.</p><p>We must not forget that my invisible self and my visible life overlap.</p><p>So the Bible compares present suffering with future glory. (Romans 8:18)</p><p>It also says that there is a difference between a light affliction and a weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17).</p><p>It may be childish, but perhaps we are like Chunhyang, for example.</p><p>Will Sato Byeon win that fight? Does Chunhyang win?</p><p>Chunhyang won.</p><p>However, Chunhyang received the hardship.</p><p>For whom? She overcame that hardship only with her love for Lee Mong-ryong.</p><p>Because of that, Chunhyang received honor.</p><p>The bar owner's daughter was honored.</p><p>She risked her life only for her love, so through hardships and trials she was glorified.</p><p> </p><p>If you go to the Book of Revelation, there are only tough fellowes left on both sides.</p><p>Later, a fight breaks out between tough fellowes and tough fellowes.</p><p>Later, a fight breaks out between tough fellowes and tough fellowes.</p><p>Only tough fellowes like cockroaches will remain.</p><p>"we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." </p><p>Why is that?</p><p>Because of the seven elements in verse 35.</p><p>However, because of the love the Lord gives us, the glory He will give us,</p><p>and because we love the Lord, we cry out that even if we suffer like this, we are more than conquerors.</p><p>However, because  livelihood type believers love the world and its things,</p><p>they become adulterous churches, and in the end,</p><p>Babylonian merchants enjoy great success by operating large ships by selling souls.</p><p>Regarding this, Apostle John warns us to keep ourselves away from idols. (1 John 5:21)</p><p>I assert  that if we live our religious lives bearing debts other than love and bearing the burden of the flesh, </p><p>the eyes of  people , and pride of life, we will not be able to avoid the path of an adulterous woman</p><p>who colludes with the existence of the world.</p><p> </p><p>Q. What can we do to overcome the world’s challenges?</p><p> </p><p>“But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)</p><p> </p><p>A. It is the love of Christ that works within us.</p><p>Tribulation, hardship, persecution, famine, and danger and danger are all on the list of challenges in life on earth.</p><p>Because of these things, we are exhausted every day like sheep to be slaughtered.</p><p>What is important is whether you have received the Spirit of truth through the work and merits of Christ's</p><p>atonement and have the commandment  to becme one bread, one body, and one spirit with the Lord.</p><p>Then, you will be able to realize what the Lord said: If you keep my commandments,</p><p>you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in his love (John 15:10).</p><p>Then, what the  Lord says, if you listen to his voice and follow his death and resurrection,</p><p>he  gives you eternal life, and no one will snatch them out of his hand. And his Father,</p><p>who gave them , is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of his Father’s hand (John 10:28-29).</p><p>That love will seep deep into your bones.</p><p>No matter how great the persecution of Byeon Sa-to was for Chun-hyang,</p><p>who did not have Christ or saw the Holy Spirit, she believed in Lee Mong-ryong's love and loved him,</p><p>so she ultimately won.</p><p>In this way, love conquers all.</p><p>But love is not a passionate mental victory.</p><p>It is a battle that is more than possible to win through love for one another,</p><p>as those called and justified into Christ, established as heirs of God's glory,</p><p>and holding fast to the promise of the Lord's calling.</p><p> </p><p>Written by Ptr.
